He looked really good tonight. It's fun to watch him play with guys he's comfortable passing to. When watching Summer League, it was clear he doesn't have the physical gifts to score at will through multiple defenders, but if he takes what the defense gives him his combo of passing and vision/perimeter shooting/driving ability is enough to make him a nice guard.
He should make this team so much more watchable. That being said, I'm psyched to have started so badly that we're almost guaranteed a bottom 3 pick.

Oh please Dala. With a few exceptions (orangello, beantown come to mind) most have. Not liking his summer league performance, be honest it sucked, does not mean we were down on Burke. While not as big a fan as you meany of us have been thrilled with the Burke pick.

I think ill agree to disagree. There was definitely anti-Burke sentiments from more than 2-3 posters.
But anywho. Great game by Burke, man. He totally looked like college-Burke. His screen-and-roll IQ is off the charts
Being critical of his performance does not mean we are down on him. I am a Hayward fan and I think he has had some horrendous games.
Edit: But agreed. Great game from Burke. I am excited to have him back. Been waiting for this.

I don't have much enthusiasm to carry on this conversation. I'm just happy he's with the Jazz. Wheu!!
Good me either lol. Now that he is back I am excited to see him play. Hope hee keeps that shooting while upping his assists and what not. Very curious to see how Burke being back will affect Burks time, Haywards TOs and how the bigs are feed the ball.
