I wouldn't necesarily count the Spanish guy as white. The other two yes but nice attempt to completely miss the point.

Wether you want to admit it or not their are differences in people of the same race based on where they are raised and born. Argentines are different than Mexicans. Russians are different than Americans.

I have no idea, frankly. There is a very strong motivation to build the best possible team, regardless of race. There are the classical racist ideas that black play basketball better. Both of those would argue against deliberately choosing white players. On the other hand, if the Timberwolves considers white players to be more marketable, there would be a bias toward white players.

I think the really unbelievable part would be an American whose opinions and determinations were completely unaffected by race. However, it's certainly much harder to say that is a significant cause in the selection of a particular team roster.

If anything I would call racism on the ******** calling racism in this case. The fact that they automatically attribute racism to the managers/owners because they do not have x numbers of black players is a racist idea. Shows to me that they distrust the owners just because they are white.

Not reverse racism which is a non existant BS idea but straight up racism.

If by "this", you are referring to the post to which I responded (the one by Hack), then yes. One part of living in a racist society is that those with priviledge feel they are in a position to decide whether their priviledge is being recognized.

If you mean the topic of the original post, than I have no reason to make a judgment one way or the other.
