The Nets and Knicks are the two most embarrassing franchises right now.

Both are mortgaged to the ceiling. They sucks balls. Cant seem to make a good decision ever. Just keep getting deeper and deeper. Its just crazy. How in the world does Billy King still have a job? Or the Knicks GM? Im really, Bargnani? And draft picks for him? What a joke. You could just go on for days about these two teams. Salaries way out of control. No hope in sight. And nothing they have either done has made any sense.

...well, I despise the Knicks more than the Nets....and think Anthony and J.R. Smith are not only a disgrace to the NBA but to the human race as well! In fact, I may even like Dennis Rodman more than those two punks! Well, on second thought. not quite.

Lol, why hate for Dennis? Purely from basketball perspective he is worth admiration only. While I agree that Smith and Anthony are ball hogging selfish primadonas.

We'll see how much you all hate Dennis when he saves us from nuclear war with north Korea.

The dude's secretly with the CIA.

.....a puke, a punk, a dirty player with extremely limited basketball skills which basically was just one.....offensive rebounding. He never deserved to win a ring, let alone two...and if he gets in the Basketball Hall of Fame....I'll probably hurl my guts out for a week!

He was perfect role player. Understood basketball and team concept very well, never complained about touches or his role and got his job done. Arguably best rebounder since 1973 and excellent defender. You can't complain about Rodman being dirty when we had Malone on our team for 20 years.
And BTW he won 5 rings and will be in Hall of Fame for sure so you better start taking some Pepto-bismol.

I don't think anyone of these guys really hates Rodman without wearing homer glasses. I mean that's a guy that got into the opponents head, hustled, trashtalked, provocative. Like you said with Malone: If he's on your team you totally love the dude when matched against you hate him.

Never complained about touches....

....complained about touches? How could he!? If he even attempted to shoot the ball he would have been jerked out of the lineup up faster than he could add another jailhouse tat to his pathetic body! He was a TURRIBLE shooter! If he had touched the ball other than grabbing a rebound....he would have led the league in turnovers 15 straight years! As is, he probably had more turnovers per minutes played than just about any other PF in the league! The only time he scored was laying up an offensive rebound he grabbed right underneath the basket!

Arguably best rebounder since 1973

.....I'll argue that...till the cows come home! There were plenty of better rebounders during that time period....and when I get some time I'll check on that PERSONALLY!

You can't complain about Rodman being dirty when we had Malone on our team for 20 years.

.....Rodman was dirty, purposely went out of this way to throw elbows and hurt people....Malone was just smart and aggressive! Malone was a gentleman both on and off the court....and a fine spokesman for the NBA and his knowledge and fundamentals of the game were probably second to none in basketball history! In fact, comparing Rodman to Malone in any basketball category is blasphemy to all basketball purist!

And BTW he won 5 rings and will be in Hall of Fame for sure so you better start taking some Pepto-bismol.

....if he does make it....hopefully for my sake and other basketball purist, it will be posthumous!

...can't think of anything else bad to say at this time...but it will come to me shortly, I'm sure!

Don't bother checking about rebounding. There was no better rebounder since 1973 then Dennis Rodman. As far as poor shooter check this out:).

You wrong about TO as well. He only had 1.6 TO average. Plenty of PF's who turned it way more then Dennis.

Start hurling - Rodman was inducted into the HOF over 2 years ago.

The way I felt about Rodman is the way I feel about Garnett - I can't stand either one of them; but if they somehow ended up in Utah I would love them instantly.

It's going to fun watching them both keep trying to pretend they are the Yankees of basketball and failing miserably year in and year out. The Knicks should go get Bo McCaleb after this year. At least he would give them a shot of life.

Chandler has been out tho, duck. Not his biggest fan obv, but Stoudemire works with a blocks queen. Dude puts up a 0 point ORTG - DRTG rating, hard to ignore that.

No doubt, but I still think average basketball is their ceiling. It's just such a bad mixture of players. I'd like to see them bite on that rumored Pau for Chandler trade just for my entertainment.

....couldn't believe he was already elected to the HOF, but after checking, your right! Also ran across this nice piece of Sports journalism as well! Here's the highlights and the link!

"The Hall of Fame is not for supporting players.

Here are Rodman's scoring averages for his three seasons with the Bulls: 5.5, 5.7 and 4.7 points. And if you're going to tell me that scoring isn't everything, I agree with you, but would also note that the Hall of Fame isn't for players averaging four or five points a game. Even though the majority of Rodman's shot attempts came on put-backs close to the basket, his shooting accuracy never reached 50 percent in Chicago, and it was 43.1 in his final season there. He couldn't create his own shot and let's not even talk about him as a perimeter shooter. Oh, what the heck, let's talk about it -- he averaged 23 percent on three-pointers for his career.

And if I'm looking for a final reason not to enshrine the Worm, I suggest that he was not always the greatest teammate -- sometimes late, sometimes undependable, sometimes a liability, having collected 212 technical fouls during his career. Again, that has nothing to do with his personal life -- it has to do with his basketball life."
