What's new

The Nets and Knicks are the two most embarrassing franchises right now.

...can't think of anything else bad to say at this time...but it will come to me shortly, I'm sure!

Don't bother checking about rebounding. There was no better rebounder since 1973 then Dennis Rodman. As far as poor shooter check this out:).

You wrong about TO as well. He only had 1.6 TO average. Plenty of PF's who turned it way more then Dennis.

.....a puke, a punk, a dirty player with extremely limited basketball skills which basically was just one.....offensive rebounding. He never deserved to win a ring, let alone two...and if he gets in the Basketball Hall of Fame....I'll probably hurl my guts out for a week!

Start hurling - Rodman was inducted into the HOF over 2 years ago.

The way I felt about Rodman is the way I feel about Garnett - I can't stand either one of them; but if they somehow ended up in Utah I would love them instantly.

It's going to fun watching them both keep trying to pretend they are the Yankees of basketball and failing miserably year in and year out. The Knicks should go get Bo McCaleb after this year. At least he would give them a shot of life.

Chandler has been out tho, duck. Not his biggest fan obv, but Stoudemire works with a blocks queen. Dude puts up a 0 point ORTG - DRTG rating, hard to ignore that.

No doubt, but I still think average basketball is their ceiling. It's just such a bad mixture of players. I'd like to see them bite on that rumored Pau for Chandler trade just for my entertainment.

....couldn't believe he was already elected to the HOF, but after checking, your right! Also ran across this nice piece of Sports journalism as well! Here's the highlights and the link!

"The Hall of Fame is not for supporting players.

Here are Rodman's scoring averages for his three seasons with the Bulls: 5.5, 5.7 and 4.7 points. And if you're going to tell me that scoring isn't everything, I agree with you, but would also note that the Hall of Fame isn't for players averaging four or five points a game. Even though the majority of Rodman's shot attempts came on put-backs close to the basket, his shooting accuracy never reached 50 percent in Chicago, and it was 43.1 in his final season there. He couldn't create his own shot and let's not even talk about him as a perimeter shooter. Oh, what the heck, let's talk about it -- he averaged 23 percent on three-pointers for his career.

And if I'm looking for a final reason not to enshrine the Worm, I suggest that he was not always the greatest teammate -- sometimes late, sometimes undependable, sometimes a liability, having collected 212 technical fouls during his career. Again, that has nothing to do with his personal life -- it has to do with his basketball life."

Oh my gosh okay guys are you sitting down? Okay so Knicks got the lead with 12 seconds left Bargani gets the rebound and SHOOTS instead of holding the ball. Misses and Bucks score take it to overtime. That was the most amazingly embarrassing play of basketball I've ever seen. I am crying right now. You got to watch the highlights of this game. You've never seen a worse game of basketball. The NBA is amazing!

And of course these two crap teams happen to be in the first two games on Christmas. The NBA presents a big **** you to all the basketball fans this Christmas trying to crawl away to the basement TV for a little respite from the family madness.
