It never ceases to amaze me how douchey and sensitive Jazz fans can be if they read something they don't like from another poster regardless if it's the truth.
Doom and gloomUmmm...you act as if winning or losing against the Clippers is actually in the Jazz' control. Utah just lost to the Lakers led by McGee, Muscala, KCP and Caruso! No Lebron, no Hart, Ingram or Kuzma. Gobert, Mitchell and Ingles ought to lose a paycheck. Can't blame this one on Rubio.
I honestly hope Utah DOESN'T face Portland. Losing to Kanter and Hood may cause Gobert's nads to permanently recede in embarassment.
Don't forget about our greedy, horrible front officeAh, it is. Must be fun rooting for a team full of players you have contempt for.
I wouldnt want to see Houston in round 1 even if it meant avoiding GS in round 2 cause there is no way we beat Houston imo.I will take any scenario where we don't play the Warriors until the WCF. Take whatever route you can to bypass them in the 2nd round. Rockets, blazers, nuggets... I don't give a ****! But I don't want to see the warriors until WCF.

I'd prefer to punish Denver by beating them and having the Rockets beat the Thunder. Cowards would then be the 3rd seed with Rockets the 2nd, and their disgraceful tank tonight will have completely backfired.
I have always been of the belief that you never lose games on purpose to force a particular playoff matchup. It will come back to haunt us. Karma always finds a way to bite you in the ***. Plus, I want the Jazz to win 50+ games...so **** this idea, win out!

Houston would be worse case scenario but I'm not sure how much making/winning an extra round of the playoffs matters. They will be motivated to avoid GS ( I think) and I expect them to take care of OKC. Hopefully Denver costs themselves the #2 seed and homecourt advantage in the second round (if they make it that far).
If CJ is healthy we could absolutely lose to Portland. Losing Nurkic is a big blow for them but Collins is okayish and Meyers Leonard has never missed a shot against the Jazz.. like ever.
Not afraid of anyone but Portland is still going to be a tough out for us... and may very well beat us. Not worth telling guys or coaches - "Lose the game tonight because we are terrified of team x and will dominate team y".
Lol what???
We lose to Portland? Seriously? Some of you must’ve missed them last year in the playoffs. And they were healthier and better last year. Ed Davis gave us fits with his length and activity.
They have no one to match us up inside. And as long as we have a healthy Mitchell, Dlil will be cancels out.
Some of you are vastly overrating Portland. I’d much rather face them than OKC, Houston, or Denver.
