The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

Was flipping through box scores from last night.
Wemby had eye popping numbers for 16 minutes in a pre season game.

3-3 from the field, 1-1 from 3, 2-2 from the line for 9 points.
10 rebounds
7 assists
3 blocks
Plus 20 in plus/minus. In 16 minutes.
If you don't count the turnovers (he had 6!) then it was basically a perfect game.

Nearly had a triple double with perfect efficiency in 16 minutes.

**** the spurs and **** the lottery

I still think the entire thing is rigged and Silver gives us number 1 as an apology for last year plus Dybantsa and the Y connection. This is our Akron.
Fingers crossed

I get it, but then you bring in/don't waive Love, Anderson, Nurkic, and Niang who are all not ok not playing according to Locke.
I doubt Love plays all that much (he shot 36% from the field last year and is now a year greyer). They might let him fail to start, but I doubt he's provably better than the younger options. He's also an All-NBA player and champion so I do value his vet experience more than essentially any other vet we've ever had.

Nurkic/Anderson are better connective playmakers so I don't mind them playing as I think they will help the overall development of our best young players.

Niang is a Jazz legend great locker room guy, and always makes the offense better when he's on the court.

I think Locke is trying to mentally prepare the fan base for the vets to play more than they will , but I don't think it will be as excessive as some are thinking.
