The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

Minnesota destroying Dallas in the 3pt variance battle and still losing is an awful sign for them.
Not exactly. That really isn't their game. Edwards only takes 4 two's isn't a positive for Minnesota. I would feel good as both sides. Don't think anyone played particularly well game 1 other than Kyrie and McDaniels.

Not that cimplicated. Offensively Edwards is not a better player than Mitchell. He just got lucky with the wolves roster having enough guys who can score on the inside that defense can not load up on the perimeter like they did with Mitchell in Utah.

Wolves need to somehow find a way to kick their habit of getting outscored by double digits in the non-Gobert minutes. Has cost them multiple playoff games.

Nah, it was spinning back towards the rim. You can see it was very slightly over when he touched it. It was a good call.
Ya I agree. I just hate the rule. I think that if it's on the outside of the rim then it should be fair game. It was not going in. Might have grazed the rim.

I really think they should just do it like the European league tho

Think of there being a vertical line from the surface area of the hoop. The ball was in that line, doesn't have to be in hoop iirc.
Doesn’t have to be in the hoop, I guess at the very last second it’s curling back but would definitely rather not see that called.

I’m also just salty because I hyped up KAT and apparently him going on that little run broke the Wolves.

It's not "in" the cylinder but if that ball doesn't get touched it probably grazes the outside edge of the rim and falls to the floor for a miss. So it can't be touched. I think it's a dumb rule.

It's like the very tip of the football just touching the end zone line kind of thing.
