I'm just going to post this here. There's not enough buzz around a Lauri trade to really have a thread on it. This is probably just some guy speculating in response to Zach Lowe. If the Jazz were offered Dylan Harper, they'd have to think seriously about that. They'd set their timeline around Harper, Bailey and this summer's draft pick, and tanking for it would be smooth sailing.

I've been sporting Lauri to the Spurs for Dylan Harper and salary filler for a long time. Pre-draft no one wanted it. Post draft and Euro ball now they do? Makes me chuckle.

This is probably completely offbase but I like Walter Clayton Jr. more as a player than Dylan Harper. The value for that Lauri trade seems generally right, just wouldn't want to give up on Clayton for Harper. It wouldn't be a horrible fit theoretically, but I know Harper would get priority and that Clayton would be sidelined quite a bit as a consequence.

Juzang will be missed by the bra. And he is a big pickup for Minny.
As crappy as it would be to send Lauri to Minny, those Kings picks are gonna be good. I think they may be our best trade partner.

Overreaction to preseason time:
I watched the OKC C team put up 70 in the first half against the Charlotte A team. Here are some thoughts running through my head:
- How is OKC this far ahead of the league?
- Charlotte will definitely be steep competition for the tank race.
- Charlotte is going to offer Kessler crazy money, they need him.
- Charlotte is a good example of what not having good players on your team does for young guys development. You can tell these OKC guys have had to spend a week in training camp with the NBA Champs.
- I thought Kon looked pretty good, McNeeley pretty bad, and Topic was ok.

How did their 7 foot center from Creighton look?
He was ok, I think he'll get some minutes this year.
Lakers have spotty shooting and some weak links in their defense. Look for them to be maybe a 5th or 6th seed this year.
