Repped, exactly how I feelI think the 2 guard is his natural position, but for the life of me cannot figure out why he should sit on the bench in favor of Tinsley and Watson, two guys who are totally washed up and barely adequate at best.
But when Mo comes back and if the Jazz get a good young PG I hope the rotation is like this in the future:
Mo/New PG (or vice versa)
Burks/Foye (or whoever if Foye doesn't resign)
Hayward/Caroll/Marv
Kanter/Sap or Al (whoever the resign if they resign one)
Favors/Sap or Al (same as above)
Wishful thinking I know
burks has way more value as a sg. He's not a pg! Why do you think I said this thread is a wast of time.Burks playing 2 pushes gordon to the 3 do you endorse that? or are you thinking we should platoon them at SG? also do you think Burks has equal value in the SG role as he does in the PG role?
(cont'd vaguely from my last po
this is why in the upcoming draft we should draft at least one guy to further perpetuate the soldier attitude (Olapido, less so Porter, maybe Goodwin [i wanna see what hes got tourney time]), and hopefully one big potential guy whos lost some stock(specifically alex poythress, Goodwin may fit in this category too) let that kid see how we do things around here, from what ive read from pkm hes quite smart, hell get it over here[ty will break that inconsistency he shows with his 1 mistake u sit style]. (when i say get it, im not talking about minutes) -- (i do think Isaiah Austin fits both of the catagories i cited, except i think hes preformed quite nicely this year, his body brings him overwhelming negative press, cannot believe someone compared him to frye in the draft thread, hahahahahahahahhaha yall do have some good jokes here!)
imagine this athleticism in lets say 2015
Burks, Hayward, Poythress, Favors, Kanter ...... (sooooo many blocks/rebs, where u gonna hide your undersized guys...)
olapido 6th man, DMC, and wed need a few bigs a backup pg and a shooter (maybe foye)...thats my vision, i hope atleast this particular post makes yall laugh.
while fantasy is the topic... say the word and ill post the team and player stats of my 2017 utah jazz season in 2k13 where we went 80-2.[4****s n giggles, obviously] started the season with a 50 game winningstreak (all games simulated, only intervened thru adjusting the rosters, coaches, strategies + training camps) kanter won the mvp, i imported the next few draft classes to to make it realistic) -that being said i traded for the magics draft picks, chris paul signed with us after the 2012 season, when he left. i signed john wall in his prime (no trade overrides, thats cheating). in my 100's of simulations i never had a season like that.had to stop the million things i was doing and write down all the stats.

Burks is a 2 and I don't think he is or should try to be a PG. That said, like alot of versatile guards - he CAN play PG in a pinch - such as when your starting PG is out and your backups are Jamaal Tinsley and Earl Watson. I think Burks and Foye should be on the floor at the same time - neither is a pure point but both have a good handle and can take some of the ball-handling responsibility off each other (we've seen teams put their best on-ball defender on Burks, pressure the heck out of him, and he's had some issues).
Honestly - I think the main reason for all the "Is Burks a point guard" debate is happening is because it's really the only position he can play for the Jazz this year - because Kevin O'Connor decided to build a roster with 5 wings when the maximum you could play is 4. So you've got 2 vets in Marvin and Foye, your best wing in Hayward who doesn't even start, a hustle glue-guy in Demarre who is impossible to keep out of the rotation and a young, talented wing in Burks who needs minutes to develop.
100posts and 1200~ views later, over the course of 1 snowed in weekend, its been alot of fun Jazzfanz and wow at his first 20+pt game... what timing by yours truely. ill come back and play another time. time for me to go back to my people

keep this thread alive if you want, i will be back with bottles of magic water after the final game of the season.
(i knew the ty comments were too real for some. 200+ views since then no one wants to respond, bravo on having private forums here, excellent idea)
his coaching might not be working but the psychology he has pushed thru-ought his team has penetrated out into the minds of the fans, which is al and paul are ones in favor and the kids are the scapegoats.
infact like most times, i believe the contrary. Paul and Al are clearly the scapegoats(you all hate em right?!?!) and have in return for minutes taken the heat off the kids and allowed them to play as corbs wished to develop him. corbin is taking the brunt of the blame for protecting and engraining hunger/consistency in our kids. i commend him for it. see how much camera time millsap got when he picked up the 5th foul... thats your scapegoat not the kids.
lastly my sincerest apologies to anyone whos been offended by anything i said, dont mean any harm. im just an excitable hot blooded brooklynite-Itailian and i love my jazz(im the only person i know in NY with favors and kanter jerseys). ive gota 2 guns up style, im like that with everything. im infact in the business of being correct and if you had me on your side youd have a different perspective about my methods, sorry again if i offended anyone in anyway.
Man is only great when he acts from passion.
