The official "let's impeach Trump" thread

So you do care how it's paid for. (You said you don't want to). You would rather someone else (not you) paid for my daughter.

Just like if you asked those who voted for the wall if they would rather pay for it or someone else (like Mexico) pay for it I'm sure they would choose someone else (like Mexico).
People would rather not pay for things. People like money. It shocks me that you don't know this already. Then again, my opinion of you just gets lower and lower weekly so maybe I shouldn't be shocked.

I still like you bro. I respect your opinion even if we do get heated. To like anyone less because of their political beliefs is bigotry by definition.

Thanks.
Btw I'm not outraged that military money is being used to build the wall. Outraged is a strong word. I just think that it's wrong for Trump to say over and over again that Mexico would pay for it knowing all along that there was no chance in hell that they would.

Wait so Bernie wants to cut military spending and that's ok? Trump does it and the same people ball their brains out lol.
You’re displaying huge levels of naivety if you think that all cuts are created equal. Trumps diversion of military resources are happening unpredictably, without any adequate follow-up communication, and are happening at the very edge of constitutionality. Planned and communicated cuts that happen during the changeovers between administrations are an entirely different type, son. Not only does our constitutional, democratic government have a natural rhythm to deal with these kinds of cuts, but the military complex needs to be responsive to democratic changes (not the other way around).

As I said I meant that as people who wanted a wall in the first place. Lol at people thinking people only wanted the wall if Mexico would pay for it. People wanted the wall to protect our borders not because someone else would pay for it.

I've been hearing about Trump using military spending since election.

At no point did a majority of people want it, regardless of who was paying for it. Then, once it became clear (like it should have been from the start) that Mexico wouldn’t be paying for it, it became increasingly less popular. So, again, what’s your point?

BTW how much does
Ok. What’s your point?
That this was no surprise. Trump wants his wall and so do the ones who voted for it. That fiscally a wall might actually save billions that we spend on illegal immigration annually. Again, I personally don't care about a wall but the wall is one of Trumps main platforms and he's getting no help from the left. To me he's doing what he has to. Just as Obama did with his Obamacare that the right didn't want.

The levers each administration is pulling in the face of resistance are entirely different. You’re choosing to ignore those differences when you make this general equation.

That campaign promises are broken. YOu guys can lose your **** about it all you want but it happens to every single politician elected ever. In the end, Trump is getting his wall. We may not like it but it's getting built. I may not like free college but if a candidate that promises free college gets elected then the people have spoken. This is basic political bull **** if you're not trying to devise some fairy tale perfect government.
