It's absolute absurdity. I'd suggest he doesn't even believe it himself, but that's seems like giving someone more credit than they've shown they deserve.
 
I'm really just smh at the Trump supporters dismissing the whistleblower. I wish everyone would simply read the whistleblower complaint. It only takes a few minutes. Anybody who can read that report, and realize how many other people are witnesses, who did hear the call, and who were aware of the administration's ongoing efforts to get Ukraine to toe the line for Trump, and who were alarmed right off the charts by what they were witnessing, and can back up everything that is in that complaint, and yet said Trump supporters can still come away with "they got nothin", etc, well, I'm sorry, but those people are absolutely delusional if they can read that report and say "nothing there".

Give me a break. And give yourself a chance to come to your senses. Read the whistleblower report. So many witnesses. Squirreling away things in classified file computers just so no political damage could ensue, etc., etc. Lol, it's a freakin goldmine of corruption and wrongdoing. I'll bet not a one of Trump's supporters have actually read it. At least it sure sounds that way.

Eh, they probably just think that the whistleblower and all other witnesses are tainted in some way. It's a huge jump in logic and extremely unlikely, but does it matter as long as it more closely matches what it is that you want to believe?

Yeah, I can see the seeds of the end in that whistleblower report, I can see all the possibilities latent, and I'm very pleased.

He could be impeached by the House simply on a party vote. But there'd have to be a 2/3 vote in the Senate to actually remove him.

tl;dr they'd have to get every Senate Democrat, every Senate independent, and at least 20 or so Republicans to vote to remove for him to actually leave office.
