That little rascal Devin Nunes. I'll bet he does remember, the scamp. During the hearings last week, he seemed to be in full throated support of the "Ukraine did it" story plot. From that great "alternative universe", Trumpworld. Well, we're in luck, Lev Parnas's attorney thinks his client can help jog Nunes' selective memory. Let's let him speak and help Devin out here...

“I get a kick out of the Republicans saying impeachment is an effort to overturn the will of the American people when Hilary beat the dumbbell by 3 million votes,” the horror novelist tweeted. “He won because of the antiquated electoral college, a 2-mule wagon in a jet plane world,” King added.
"The will of the electoral college" just doesn't pop.
If 100% of the American people voted this buffoon in, & he still committed these offenses, he'd still be eligible for impeachment.
Even if he was voted in justifiably, one doesn't negate the other.

Remember man.. there were 6 million confirmed, illegal immigrant votes for Hillary that were counted. 3.4 million in California alone. Had we done this right, with every single ballot handed from armed courier, one at a time, to another courier with different armed escorts, who have double blind, triple positive blood consent ballots, Donald Jehusifat Trump would have exactly 160 Million votes, and won the election by 500 Million at a cost lower than healthcare and college combine.
Where's @babe to help us out with those numbers anyway.

Oh sweet more advice from another person who lives in fantasy land.
The electoral college is there for a reason. Please educate yourself on mob rule and refrain from spouting nonsense. One lost election from the Democrats doesn't mean its broke. Hillary Clinton is the worst presidential candidate in our lifetime. Thats why she lost. She lost to one of the most unelectable people ever. Thats on her, and the Democrats for not having enough backbone to fight off the Clintons. You let her rig the primaries.

This is part of the transition to a Post Truth landscape, which I think, at least IMHO, should be regarded as a dangerous development in a democracy. When there is no truth, in the specific sense of agreed upon facts, then any lie is good to go. Truth becomes whatever one wants it to be, whatever serves one's purpose. And I think this is why so many turn to Orwell's 1984, as a template of sorts to describe what is happening in American society at the present time.
I just don't think anything good can come of this development....
