franklin doesn't want me to "follow him around" after he made a pretty hard personal attack on me. So that's cool. I'm not quoting him on this post.
And for the record, I know jazzfanz.com is not about me. That's a funny thing to say. Jelly? Yeah, probably. But whatever.
So the accusation was that I harass new posters via PM. I went 5 pages deep into my PMs earlier today and I think that got me to 2017.
The majority of my PMs, especially sent PMs, were in regard to poker games and they were sent to give other people on this site my home address so they could come to my house and play poker. That is the significant majority of my PM use on jazzfanz.com over the last few years and these last few years have been some of my least active as far as hosting poker games.
The second most are communications I had with people whom I've met in person or had significant interactions with on this site. There is a pretty even mix of conversations I initiated and ones the other person initiated on that list.
The third, honestly, I'd say are interactions with jazzfanz.com mods and/or management regarding infractions or warnings.
Fourth are PMs initiated by someone else starting a conversation with me. Eenie-Meenie has started the most of those and every single time I told him I had no desire to engage in private communications with him. Rare144 has started several with me and I think for the most part I've never responded to his PMs. That makes up 90% of category #4.
So then there is one PM interaction. One. This one is something I've already explained at length. But since the allegation was made that I harass "new posters" via PM, I will clarify beyond all possible necessity what that interaction was.

Many years ago poster Troutbum indicated to poster Ron Mexico in-person at a poker game that they had an alt. I want to say Perl Watson, but I'm not 100% sure. Maybe
@Ron Mexico could clarify this point. But I never believed Troutbum was actually that other poster. Ron Mexico has said to me in person multiple times that he does believe it.
At the last poker game I hosted Troutbum was there again. He claimed during that game that he was the poster Firegirl. There were some things that made me think it was true and some that made think it was not true. Firegirl's combative style, their filthy sense of humor, stuff like that had me wondering. So, I sent Firegirl a PM trying to confirm if it was actually Troutbum. The way I worded the PM was intentionally vague. It would have made perfect sense to Troutbum and I hoped it was clear enough to Firegirl if they weren't Troutbum, but the response I got was essentially "You're a creep, leave me alone." Then Firegirl posted her impression of the conversation in a thread where she again characterized it as me being a creep and sending her weird PMs. I explained in more detail why it happened, but I still think that poster thinks of me as some weird creep.
In more than the last two years that is the very only instance where I have sent a PM to someone I didn't know at least somewhat. That's the only one. I'm more than happy to screenshot more than 5 pages of my PM history. I'll also happily post the contents of the post I sent to Firegirl.

That complaint either means he saw firegirl's post after I sent the PM and it weirdly stuck with him, or he is firegirl. I don't care, but I do care that he accused me falsely of harrasing new posters via PM. I invite whoever has the access to my PMs to view them and take whatever action they feel necessary if I have engaged in harassment. Spoiler Alert: I haven't.
So franklin can, well, he can have a nice life, whatever that means for him. But he's a liar. If that matters to him or not I don't know. I know I'm not a liar. And I can assure anyone reading this, that absolutely matters to me. I'd feel like a complete piece of garbage if I told lies like that about someone who has invited me into their home and whom I had a overwhelmingly positive relationship with for like 8-9 years. I'd feel pretty low telling petty lies about someone in that situation. Pretty ****ing low.
