The official "let's impeach Trump" thread

This is true, but look it's not like Bernie Sanders is a relatively unknown candidate. He had a high profile run four years ago, has been one of the frontrunners in this one, and his head to head numbers against Trump haven't dipped at all. The thing about Sanders is the more exposure he gets, the more people like him. His message is a popular one, and he's great at giving it. I just don't buy that that is somehow going to turn into a fatal flaw six months from now.

his numbers in swing states are inferior to other options

Inferior to Biden only, and it's close. Sanders out polls both Warren and Buttigieg in swing states vs Trump, both of whom are to his right, quite far in Buttigieg's case.

I hear a Republican voice in the distance explaining why they refused to have a fair impeachment trial...

“Let the voters decide his fate!”

sigh

I don't even get what purpose this serves. How does a smaller democratic primary help Trump?

He' knows he can get away with anything now. You know, as long as it's in the country's "best interest" anything is apparently legal. Frankly, maybe worse than Nixon's "it's not illegal if the President does it." Tropico banana Republic.

Catching up on my liberal agenda rhetoric.
