He shouldn't do stuff like that, but I have far less of a problem with a president publicly announcing that he will hold an event at a property he owns than I do with a vice president's son quietly obtaining multi-million dollar contracts because the people hiring him believe they are purchasing the power to influence our government. It frustrates me greatly that the media doesn't seem to care about the latter at all except to the extent that they will publish stories attempting to explain why it is okay. Their bias is so incredibly blatant.

What stories have you read that everything Biden's son has done is okay? All of those that I have read indicate that it is ethically dubious but legal. Biden's boy is doing the same as what the Trump boys are doing every day. They are all corrupt.

POTUS awarding POTUS a contract is in a different league. We're talking Kim Jung Un level of corruption. Walking into your bank and filling your briefcase level stuff.

I have read many stories that claim that the Biden's didn't do anything wrong. In the Dem debate Anderson Cooper literally apologized to Biden for asking him a question about it. He didn't suggest in any way, shape or form that anything was dubious about it.

The Trump org has pursued and closed on deals in foreign countries (to say nothing of the countless stays by foreign dignitaries at Trump properties in the US). This has been talked about literally since before Trump was even elected.
