Trump’s just new to government. He’s not a politician.

Trump is just draining the swamp. When you drain the swamp you know there will be swamp creatures fighting back. Besides, Berman is an Obama guy; he’s anti-Trump.

Isn’t it pretty obvious to everyone, even the dumbest Trumper, that he and Barr are desperately trying to kill an investigation into Trump? They’re so desperate to kill it, that they’re using whatever means necessary illegal or legal, to remove Berman? And they can’t even get their stories straight?

On earth 2.0 where sanity rules, the Senate tells Trump to go pound sand and they join the House in impeaching Barr. Then again, on earth 2.0, trump would’ve never been nominated by Republicans.
 
I understand that the Senate won’t remove. I also understand that they’ll blindly confirm whatever toadie Donald nominates to lead the SDNY, whether it be Rudy or Judge Pirro. But it sure would be nice if the House could show a pulse. Just because the Senate has no interest in oversight doesn’t mean the House shouldn’t. Barr needs to be impeached. The Senate blowing off another impeachment trial is just a further indictment on the rot of the GOP. History will judge the Senate poorly. But it’s also judging Democrats to see if they’re willing to fight for the Constitution. We need at least one party to care.

It was highly inappropriate and anyone with a brain knows full well what was happening there.

Conversely, the president has full authority to hire or fire anyone in those positions at his leisure.

One was legal, one most certainly was not.
