Yes, Presidents are judged largely on the economic situation. They shouldn't be to the extent they are unless you can draw a clear line from their actions to specific economic results. But it is what it is.

That is why trump’s low approval ratings are so shocking. The economy is doing great and he is 15 points underwater. You’ve got to be incompetent to be doing that poorly.

Haha, no, not really. But I do know what it's like to not be able to work or function on a daily basis without an obscene amount of pain. I also know what it takes to be considered totally and permanently disabled by the VA and its a ton of injuries. For comparison purposes, I am actually rated at 90% disabled due to my injuries while serving and in order to get to 100%, permanent and total, I would need to have more issues equating to injury percentages of about 70% more than I already have and I am pretty ****ed up from my injuries.

So I think there's a difference in someone who is able to work every day compared to a documented, severely injured person who struggles daily just to live a somewhat normal life and therefore is unable to work.

Nope, that's what 93% negative coverage will do for you. If it were 50/50 coverage or 93% positive coverage like it was for Obama, these polls would be much different.

I was just confused because you said that stupid people that took out loans for ridiculous and useless degrees can eat it. You were not clear if this applied to the disabled vets.

What about the disabled vet who worked to pay for college? or one who saved to pay for college? Or another who took out a home equity line to pay for college? Why would we only give help to disabled vets who still have student loans? This seems pretty harsh towards people who served and paid a high price.

Why not just give more money to all disabled vets? They served, they paid a huge price. Would you support a $10 billion program to unconditionally support disabled vets and their families?
