The Official paul MILLSAP Should stay a Jazzman thread

I want jazz to be loyal to millsap.

stockton played his whole carreer here.
so should PIMPSLAP

No, do not compare Millsap to Stockton. Stockton never, ever dogged it in a game. Besides, the number of pg's who were better than John can be counted on the hand of someone who has had a bad experience with a table saw.

Field Goal Attempts per 36 are more evenly distributed than these discussions would indicate. Even Al does not take that many more than Mo or Millsap.

2 Al Jefferson 17.3
3 Mo Williams 13.5
4 Paul Millsap 13.3
5 Gordon Hayward 13.2
6 Enes Kanter 12.7
7 Alec Burks 12.3
8 Randy Foye 11.8
9 Derrick Favors 11.4
10 DeMarre Carroll 10.5
11 Marvin Williams 9.8
12 Jeremy Evans 7.4
13 Jamaal Tinsley 6.9
14 Earl Watson 5.2

?? The difference between Al and the very next guy, Mo, is larger than the difference between Mo and Marvin Williams, 8 spots lower than him. I'd say that's pretty significant.

Nah, I'm kind of tired of him. I have grown to really dislike his game and his attitude (or lack there of, either negative or positive) over the past few months.
Are we talking about the Millsap of this season or the one we had 3-4 years ago?
This is the same thing that happened with AK. People are living in the past. I loved the hard-working, no-nonsense, play-with-reckless-abandon Millsap of a few years ago. Once he became the starter, he began playing more conservatively. Time to move on!

gtfo.

alfense sucks, you try playing as a 4th/5th option in an alfensive loosing basketball no defense system for 2+ seasons. lets see what happens to your already crappy sucky attitude

Don't think it means he likes al just because he does not like millsap. It's not one or the other.

i am not living in the past.
i am looking at the whole body of work.
ALFENSE sucks
millsap does not fit into alfense.

so what shall we do find players who fit into alfense.
or abandon alfense and get us some team orientated players eg millsap

put stockton in alfense lets see what happens

1) Stock and Al would do well together.

2) Sap's shot selection gets worse every year. His shot selection was probably worse than Mo's this year.

shot selection is a product of system/or lack thereof.

al cant run pick and roll.

so dump it down to al by stockton means doing well?

actually millsap would do great with stock.

wow millsap went from most loved jazz player to one of the most hated ones.

jazz pr and utah media brainwashed all you lil punk B*******

I don't see Millsap willing to be a 6th man and if that is the case than what is there to really talk about? Let Sap and Al walk, lets find a big man that is willing to play as a serviceable 6th man behind Favors and Kanter. IF we re-sign Sap he'll bitch about coming off the bench then Corbin will fold under the pressure and start him over a more deserving Kanter or Favors. Same song and dance all over again.

media fabricated horsecrap.
show me a video/audio interview of millsap saying that.

the media is destroying PIMPSLAP so when he gets not resigned fans will be happy if not okay with it

....if Stockton would have been stuck with Jefferson instead of Malone....he would have left the Jazz and signed with someone else! Oh, and he would have had about 8,000 less assists, too! Back to the Milsap issue......Dutch! I'm surprised at your sentimentality on this Sap issue! Sure he's better than Jefferson, but we've got to clean house and move on! You know that as well as anybody with a basketball brain! Unless he's willing to sign for the minimum we can't afford to keep him with us. Heck, even with the minimum we've got to move on!
