What's new

The official: Rudy isn't max money.

You are more creative than me with imagining lineups and more optimistic. You see championships, I see the first 50 games of Conley, minus the DPOY.

Irregardless of my fears, I think the Jazz have set things up so they could decide to pivot away from Rudy if they have to, or if they think it is the best option. I kind of wish they would pivot, mostly because in my advancing age I grow bored quickly. The current Jazz team bores me and it was built around Rudy. What would a team built around Donovan look like?

It's going to be really interesting to see how this all plays out. I love Rudy but I think it would be a huge mistake to give him the supermax. If the Jazz are unwilling to give him the supermax and feel there's a chance he might leave if they don't offer it to him then they have to trade him, right? You can't let an all NBA player walk away and get nothing in return. I really hope it doesn't come to that, I hope he's willing to take less money.

Unbelievable how fickle you all are as fans. Rudy is a phenomenal player, you keep phenomenal players and good coaches make it work.
Imagine what Sloan would have done with this team.
None of the problems this team has is on the players. Blame the front office and coaching staff.
The pieces are there. Just not being put together.
