Wow I agree with you! I hate Zelenskyy and his followers, but Zelenskyy is much worse then a mafia boss. He’s a dictator who wants to burn his own country to the ground so he can rule over the ashes. He’s a dictator with Nazi followers and he’s trying to bring down as much as Europe as he can with him.

50 percent? i expected him to demand 100, in other news the Europeans will not be part of any peace talks.
 
This article is so good that I’m gifting it. Musk is making it impossible for Europeans to conduct free and fair elections. Just as he has taken over the American system, now he’s attempting to take over the Europeans electoral systems. How can a country have a free and fair election when the world’s richest man also owns one of the world’s largest information platforms? His tweets get 100x more views than the BBC, NY Times, or NPR articles will ever get.

Couldn't read the whole thing. But this is why I'm not on any of these platforms. Facebook is evil and I've known it for more than a decade. But the big problem is no one can or will do anything about it. Some countries in the EU try to limit it and put some regulations on it, but America won't because we are just that dumb. Same goes for all the other social media platforms, and double for twitter. Americans are the proverbial frog being boiled alive, but the water has long ago run out and we are currently headed to well-done. Because, to put it in Zuckerberg's words, we're all dumb ****s.

The TL;DR version is:

1. Your average candidate can give speeches, make videos, and do write ups reaching maybe thousands of people.
2. Your party can promote you and the party’s ideas maybe reaching thousands of people.
3. Most local papers are dead, so they’re not reaching anyone. The top papers right now, like The NY Times, reach a pretty limited amount of subscribers.
3. Teevee is so scattered right now that unless you’re on Fox News prime time, you’re not reaching many people.

Conventional ways of communicating your message and conducting a campaign is over.

4. Elon Musk’s tweets? Get millions of views. Combine that with his resources of getting onto podcasts, manipulating algorithms, and just spending millions (he spent over $250 million for Trump) he alone can control election systems of entire European counties. His money, fame, and social media/podcast presence outweighs the combined power of political parties and their candidates, teevee ads, and newspapers. Europe has seen the destruction he has wrought In America and are desperately trying to keep him, his money, and his algorithms out of Europe.
 
European nations need to start building nukes. If America refuses to stand up to Russia over Ukraine, then Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Denmark, Germany, etc need to start developing nukes and fast. It’s really the only way to guarantee their safety against both Russia and Trump.
 
The United States going Strongman, and aligning with Putin, must be part of the New World Order they warned us about…
