As a life time pacifist and full blown leftist, it's actually what I'm hoping right now. More nuclear weapons to Europe. Neither Russia or Kingdom Of Trump will risk a full blown nuclear war.

Why couldn't literally any other country in the world call up zelensky and say "hey, we have a deal for you. Let Russia keep the land they took and you share your rare earth materials with us"

Literally every country can make that exact same offer lol.

Exactly. The difference is the other nations operate on a system of morals that prioritizes the citizens and families affected. Where Trump prioritizes Trump, so, you know...

You obviously don’t know, but here goes… Do you know what countries have the ability, technology, and manufacturing capability to extract, refine, and utilize those materials? Not to mention the ability to protect those materials… dum dum
 
Ukraine wants russia to stop attacking and invading. That is their priority. trump wants the rare earth minerals, not zelensky lol.
So another country could simply beat trumps offer by calling up zelensky and saying "we have a deal for you. Let russia keep the land they took and you dont even have to share anything with us"

Also lol at thinking that every country besides the United States is some third world country who have no manufacturing capabilities. As for protection, if trump would have simply included protection in the deal then it would have been signed. trump couldn't or wouldn't though so saying that is part of the deal when it was literally intentionally not included as part of the deal is dumb.

zelensky: "I hope that this document will be the first step to real security guarantees for Ukraine," he said. "Our people, our children really count on it. And, of course, we count that America will not stop support. Really, for us, it's very important to support and to continue it. I want to discuss it with details further."

Zelenskyy urged the U.S. to take a strong position in stopping Russian President Vladimir Putin, saying he is a "killer" and "terrorist."

"I hope that together we can stop him. But for us, it's very important to to save our country, our values, our freedom and democracy," Zelenskyy said.

Zelenskyy also stressed the importance of having the U.S. backing up European security contingencies.

"I think that France and U.K. already spoke to you, and we know that Europe is ready, but without the United States, they will not be ready to be as strong as we need," he said.

Still, Trump argued that Russia will not go back on its word once a peace deal is reached, and he declined to get into security guarantees that Zelenskyy said he views as critical to any peace agreement.
"We'll make a deal," trump said. "I have to make the deal first. I don't worry about security right now."
Trump and Zelenskyy also disagreed over Putin's reliability once a deal is struck, with Zelenskyy saying Putin will never accept just a ceasefire.

"It will not work without security guarantees," the Ukrainian president added.


trump expects zelensky to sign a deal that has no guarantee that russia wont simply continue to conquer his country and simply trust trump that after the deal is signed trump will look out for Ukraine lol. Trust trump? Thats rich.

trump be like "ok well sign this deal that doesn't mention anything about the security and safety of Ukrainians and I will take care of all of that later. Just trust me"

That would be like going to a car dealership and saying "the number 1 thing I want most in the vehicle I buy is 4 wheel drive". Car dealer says "well how about you buy this 2 wheel drive vehicle that doesn't have 4 wheel drive and I will make sure to add 4 wheel drive to it later. Just trust me"

Oh and in this scenario you are dealing with the most dishonest car dealership/salesman of all time.

Which is exactly, 1000% exactly, what Trump was hoping you would conclude. It was one of the main reasons for their ambush of Zelenskyy. Trump ended by saying “this is going to be great tv”. This was a setup, designed in part to make it seem only right and proper when Trump aligns with Russia’s position. Esp. in the future, as Trump keeps it up, with his notion that the world is divided into autocratic spheres of influence. The fact that some actually cannot recognize something so obvious, is nobody’s fault but there’s.

In service to Putin, on Trump’s part. In service to a new anti-democratic world order, of which our nation will be a part, Donald Trump could not have asked for a better reaction from his domestic audience, then reactions like your own. Trump wants you and those who responded to the ambush in a similar way, to go exactly that way, in order to ease domestic pushback moving forward into a new world where Strongmen respect Strongmen, and democracy and freedom be damned.

You don’t like warmongers. Who could possibly blame you? Hundreds of thousands of years of humans killing other humans. Fact is, there were at least 5 distinct species of humans not that long ago, in geologic time that is. We may have helped kill off one of the others, Neanderthals, but most of us still carry some of their genes. The only human species left now is us, and we’ve been warring forever.

But this bonding with Putin really may lead to a much worse scenario than America supporting Ukraine would, which, yesterday, in the person of Zelensky, simply pointed out that they need security guarantees, given Putin’s history with ceasefires. In effect, Trump saying “I trust Putin” simply will not do for Zelensky. Nor should it. Who are WE to say he should lie down and trust that Trump knows Putin better than history knows Putin? Why would we expect Zelenskyy to be a damn fool, after so many of his countrymen and women killed by a man who leads a true mafia state. Trump trusts the leader of a mafia state. Who’s obviously using Trump.

watch as a peace deal is completed without trump or america being a part of it and then trump will take all the credit. If a deal gets done without the United States involvement then I can guarantee trump will try to take all the credit.

trumpers will praise trump as well. Per usual.

I'm surprised he doesn't take credit everytime the sun comes up. If he did his followers would be here explaining why he was right.
