The burke apologists need to calm down.
It was just one bad game guys..... he will probably do just fine next game and then you won't see people discussing the fact that he played poorly and instead we will talk about how well he played.
Relax bros.... its ok to say he played bad right after he played bad.
I bet burke would even be critical of his individual performance today if he was asked about it
 
So insanely retardedly early to judge anything on Burke.

He looked terrible today, but not much worse than Hayward looked his first SL game.
 
So weird that this extreme doubt of treys abilities are in play after this game. I'm really shocked actually. He played against BETTER talent in college and dominated. One bad game....that is all you silly ****ing ********.
 
People on this board overreact in ways that never cease to amaze. The odds of Burke being a great PG in this league are not real high and never have been. Thinking he is not good after one game is equally as ridiculous. Hopefully what we got in TB is a solid PG who can get us into the offense, keep the defense honest by knocking down open shots, and a decent defender. If he is a serviceable starter that will mean a successful draft. I was attacked for saying I thought CJ was the better player and I still think so but Burke will be fine.

there were a couple people that overreacted about Burke's performance, but there are a lot of people overreacting about their overreaction hahaha

I think Burke just felt the pressure to impress the team that traded up to get him. I think he still did good though, he was trying to be a leader, talking to the guys and what not.
 
What worries me is if Burke struggles through Summer League we might be more inclined to sign a PG to start instead of a vet to come off the bench and mentor.
