You might be right about the hen ... I couldn't find a good one of a rooster just jerking along, and this one works, but I think it's a hen and not a rooster. But that's besides the point. Calling Dante a rooster rather than a hen is more complimentary given his soft reputation.
 
The .gif actually makes Dante look like an amazing athlete. The opposite you were going for I think.

I wasn't trying to imply that Dante isn't a good athlete. I have never indicated that. It's the way he carries himself, with his butt out and his neck slightly perpendicular to his torso so that he appears to move like a rooster and shoot his outside shot like a rooster might if it had arms to do so. His speed has never been questioned by anyone. There are other factors that have hurt his NBA career.

 
I still prefer to call him “Finger Guns” since that had been his hand position of choice back when he used to actually see playing time.
 
I was at the game tonight and when I mentioned that Dante's gait and body movements were like a rooster, they agreed. Don't understand how you guys can't see that. And he sure looked awful out there, too.

I always thought that dante's face looked like a deer and that also signifies that he isn't very strong

No, that wasn't the case at all. In fact, people thought it was not only funny but apropos. Just because your vision is limited doesn't mean that applies to everyone. Is it complimentary? No, but many nicknames aren't; they're just done in jest. Better than some of the other things I've seen people on here refer to him.

But to be serious here. It looks like Quin has lost confidence in him and I expect the Jazz are working on a deal to move him. People have conjectured about possible destinations, but whichever or wherever, it's obvious that it's time for the Jazz to cut their losses.
