ROY, #19 Covid, he flew under the radar last fall, but exploded in the spring when it counts. Look at the stats he accumulated. I heard he is a real ***, but can't argue anyone had more impact.

MVP, #23 Michael Jordan. Its playoff time and he explodes on the scene. He made the NBA relevant again while the other so-called stars were hiding.

MVP goes to Joe Exotic... MJ is sixth man of the year. He came off the bench once the starter did his work.

You nailed Rookie Of The Year. Yes, Zion came in late in the season and I thought he had a shot at it, but the Covid Kid from China really did put up astonishing numbers and sure was a lock down defenseman.

Plus the Covid Kid moved beyond basketball. An international star who graced the front page on every newspaper worldwide. And this is also a feather in his cap: Only three Chinese players in the NBA have earned the cover of Time magazine...one of them is the Corona Kid...and he did it as a rookie. Astonishing.

I just listened to a podcast interview with Brock Motum on the Aussie League website. He is playing for a Spanish League team and he said the league was hoping to resume play after May 31 in the Canary Islands with a 12 team tourney with two brackets. At least that sounds like a little progress. It sounds like the Canary Islands have had virtually no cases.
 
Lebron was pooh poohing reports that GMs and agents just want to throw the towel in for this season and start fresh in the Fall.

That is reason enough in and of itself to do just that. This is not the LBA it is the NBA even though he seems to miss that point. Plus, throwing in the towel and starting fresh in the fall is the most logical thing to do.
 
I noticed the NBA postponed its draft lottery and pre draft rookie combine as the league is still figuring out the rest of the season.
 
Something a tad hopeful happened in the Treasure Valley yesterday. A private high school reopened for classes and a small liberal arts college said they would have the campus for fall classes and also announced some football and basketball signings. Perhaps there might be an end to the NBA season.
 
Just end it already or do a 16 team single elimination tournament with best 2 of 3 for the championship game.
 
If they end the season they should do a lottery draft for every team. Teams that were pushing for the playoffs that wont get a chance are punished with the season ending. Especially teams with a smaller window. Teams that were tanking lose very little this year.
