You obviously know nothing of the evolution of the two parties.

You also fail to realize that right wing isn't a political party, but a political philosophy (liberal or conservative). Your stats actually prove exactly what I'm talking about.

This is common in most Arab and African nations.

Calling it a sickening "cultural" practice is subjective.

Many other cultures would call many of our practices and traditions sickening.

But that's okay, Americans know everything and are always right. Eventually we'll find those WMDs in Iraq, right?
 
For record, I'm against female "circumcision." However, what gives me the right to override or berate their traditions? They have just as much of a right to trash mine. And it ain't changing under whatever regime we put in there.

Perhaps if we really wanted to spark social change, we could threaten to withhold all the government handouts to Egypt?

They receive so much cash in foreign aid.

Of course, they'd threaten to become more radical, trash us via their schools, and would threaten Israel and the stability of the entire ME. But whatever. I'm tired of so many foreign countries sucking us dry while American taxpayers are left without. We're made to feel guilty for wanting something. While for decades other countries have had us foot the bill for their defense, government stability, and social infrastructures.

All well. It's all about eliminating the handouts to Americans while expanding handouts to foreign countries (aka business interests of primarily big oil)

Here's a question for the left, on the subject of abortion many from the left call the woman's body her own. Therefore, she has the choice to do what she wants to her body. So what about cases like these? What happens if the girl and/or her family want her to have these types of operations done? Is it "still" her body and "her" choice or does the doctor need to act on his morals and prevent mutilation?

Umm, because this cultural practice is being performed on people who are not willing participants. Is the morality of slavery subjective? Wait, who am I to say that every individual should be able to chose their own path as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else? I'm just drunk on my own sense of cultural superiority.

B.S. The right wing has always been the Republicans. Nothing has changed, beside the Democrats figured out another way to keep the black people in line...keep them dependent on Democrat handouts, and support the genocide of black babies.

What gives me the "right" to berate their traditions? Because they are barbaric and done against defenseless little girls. What don't you get about little girls getting their ****oris cut out and their genitals cut off. Their ability to enjoy sexual relations is destroyed when this happens.

These so called "operations" aren't done by a doctor. They are done by a barber or a midwife.

Last I understood it, most circumcised males have no recollection of the procedure or giving their approval.
