Did this show go through a shakeup with the director or writers around the time the Negan storyline was introduced? It didn't used to be so incredibly dumb.

I do wonder how Eric and Enid's trip to Oceanside will play out now that they shot the granny. What's in the truck? The weapons? If so giving them back before it is truly over, at all imo, is a incredibly dumb move.

Yes from what I understand they replaced the show runner. The new one seems dumb as a bag of rocks.
