What's new

The Walking Dead

Yeah bloody psycho Rick and nutjob Carol are starting to bug me. They can't even give it a few weeks to see if it just might work to live there? Yeah the dude that got Noah killed is a prick, but I think if they actually acted sanely (Rick's group) and worked with Deann the truth would come out without them going all psychotic. And if they weren't acting all wacko then she would have listened to Rick about the wife-beater and they could have figured out a better solution. This whole season feels like deus ex machina to me. Unless the point they are making is that after living in the "real world" for so long it is impossible to live "normally" because they are all insane.

And also kind of funny that the one who was actually kind of insane to begin with (Michonne) is now the fully sane one.

Forgive me if I missed something, but I believe what they're selling us is that those from "outside" just aren't capable of bringing about changes in a rational manner.

Michonne has her problems too, as seen by her flashbacks she gets around the walkers.. but her desire to have a civilized life again brings her back to reality. I think she realizes that she's at the end of her rope, and if she doesn't come back to civilization, it's going to kill her. In her mind, staying in Alexandria is the only way she can survive.

So anyone hear about the companion series "Fear the Walking Dead" coming out later this summer? Guess it's a prequel set in L.A. at the onset of the outbreak.

https://www.cnn.com/2015/03/28/entertainment/walking-dead-companion-show-feat-thr/index.html

The news comes as the companion went through development season -- and was picked up to series and preemptively renewed for a second season — under code names including "Cobalt" and "Fear The Walking Dead."On March 9, AMC announced the series pickup and renewal for the then-untitled series.
Kirkman, who created "The Walking Dead" comic series, co-wrote the pilot with Dave Erickson of "Sons of Anarchy." Kirkman and Erickson will executive produce alongside "Walking Dead's" Gale Anne Hurd and Dave Alpert. Erickson will serve as showrunner, and Adam Davidson will direct the pilot. "Walking Dead" visual effects guru Greg Nicotero will also executive produce the series.

I get that a little bit, but Rick is still right, and will be proven right again as they will probably be attacked from outsiders and will beg for Rick's help. Rick is kinda of being made out to be the bad guy right now, but I'm certain that will flip. I don't think the storyline will change. Rick is going to be the good guy hero type the whole way through I think.

The W's are made from a gang called the Wolves is my guess.

Nice call. A super ****ed up group it seems.

Wonder how Morgan will react to Rick killing some dude execution style since Morgan seems to be somewhat of a pacifist now.

In the episode where they went to Noah's town and they were all dead, where they first saw all the heads with W's carved in it, there was a wall that had spray paint on it that said the Wolves are coming. It only flashed for a second.

Tonight was a good episode. Too bad we have to wait forever for the next season.

I like how it ended on a strong note for the group.

All the lose ends from this season got tied up or major development. Hope there is more to the new bad guys then what we saw. They really underwhelmed me.

My major question is who was the guy in the red poncho?! He had pics of the group before the Wolves took them.

No, the pictures where from the gay dudes back pack he left in the car. I think.

I really hope the show doesnt go back to sucking now. I think the most interesting thing was the whole distrust between Rick and Alexandria and the whole idea of tyrant/murder Rick taking over. Now I think it has danger of going back to season 3: "We live in a community now we are being attacked by evil bad guys".

I've always thought Walking Dead has been pretty much crap but every now and then there is some greatness. Hopefully they learned their lesson as this season was pretty entertaining.
