The Walking Dead

If one wanted to read the comics does anyone know what the best way to get it would be? Would I have to buy like a collection of comics or is it all together in a single book, or something else?

They sell them in "volumes". Each volume is about 8-10 comics I believe. There are about 130+ comics right now. Due to its popularity the price is kinda high for that imo.

I'm sure you could read an online version.

Hmm, that was the worst episode of this entire series. They have had a quite a few bad ones, but this one took the cake. Ill have 6 months to think about it but this might be the episode that finally gets me to quit watching this series.

You don't like an hour of nothing leading to a cliff hanger?

I did like Morgan killing some dude tho.

The Morgan stuff with Carol was good the rest was so awful. This show abuses its viewers and generally I give them a pass and just roll my eyes, but this is getting to be too much. I dont know if I can endure more cliff hangers that are just trying to make you think they killed someone but they dont. I definitely cannot handle any more show the ending and then back track and fill in the gaps just to show the ending different from what they tried to make you think it is.

This summary pretty much is how I felt:

You can buy digital copies direct from the publisher, Image Comics. Currently they're only $6/trade, which contains about 4-6 issues, but that sale only runs thru tomorrow, apparently. They're up to volume 24, so you could get the whole series for less than $150...

Most local libraries will carry copies of it, too. If you're in SLC, I know that they carry them downtown, altho the best thing to do is reserve them, because if you just walk in, who knows which ones they will have on the shelf?

There are also larger collections that cost more, but are cheaper per issue.

They really have overly abused the "Did we kill someone?" cliffhanger as of late to the point of it being ridiculous.

I to want to quit watching, but it's so hard to quit something you've watched for this long. Negan seems pretty cool, but how long til he becomes as boring as everyone else on the show?

And even though I like the Morgan/Carol storyline of the episode (the rapid depression of Carol was so poorly set-up, I still can't believe it happened as fast as it did), I feel like I only liked it because it was next to the awful Rick story-line of them walking into the most obvious trap imaginable.

I used to watch this show, but decided it's just not worth it anymore, this Screen Junkies does a pretty good job of summing it up:
