What's new

Things your significant other does that drives you cray

I swear this really happened.

I got the ****ty part of the floors down and it just needed the finishing touches. I went to lie down as I'm old and out of shape and my back hurt from bending over. I fell asleep and woke up a few hours later to take a pee and lo and behold she had put the entire living room together by herself. Moved everything to its proper spot and got it all set up. I was very happy.

She will use it against you at the worst possible time.

My wife likes to stand in the center of the room and take pictures of walls.

This is the perspective of a nest builder. Don't let it bug you.

Count yourself lucky if the furniture stays in the same place. . . .

I swear to god I am forced to rearrange the furniture in every room at least once a month.

Congrats. First kid is a trip.

Its thee best, then they start walking then its still the best but you want to punch a hole in the wall at least ten times a night. My 1 year old walks around all day grabbing the only things he shouldnt be grabbing. Totally ignores all the damn toys I buy him and goes straight for the candles, anything glass, anything full of liquid, any food, ANYTHING he should not have is the only thing he wants. Its so annoying.

He seems to take after your wife!

I understand completely.

However, there is an art to creating the notion that if she wants it done right, she needs to do it herself. . . . . though it's a very fine line between that and proving you're just useless. Fortunately, for the young and artless among us, there is usually still an excess of muscle, energy, and looks.

Do the job, then savor the rewards.
