Without going into comparisons, the chassis in a Volvo is as tight and solid as they come.

The electronics are whack. The repair costs are ridiculous. The local service is a joke (if you know of a decent repair shop I'd love the name). Maybe ours is a lemon. I sure hope so, because if they are all like this then Volvo is on the way out.

Count me in for sure. I don't think I gave enough appreciation for the games, they were a blast.

And despite being the host and everything else, many times I still managed to be the most awkward person in the room..

I honestly believe that if you have 15 people in a room at some social event, 12 people feel exactly like this, and the other 3 are only confident because they started drinking early.

A big reason I've hosted poker games, and I've said this before, was a sort of self help thing. I'm not very social. I don't delude myself into thinking that's healthy.

My theory is if it stops you from killing people, then isolation is completely healthy. Most of the regulars on Jazz fans are probably at least a little bit introverted. That's why we do so much of our socializing through a computer screen.

The only reason you didn't spot the fish was because I get extra credit for hosting and dealing. If people saw past that they'd know the fish for sure.

So when I do start hosting again I have a certain format in mind, but before I start hosting my new "standard" game I want to hast a Jazzfanz exclusive. If it's 6 players or 20 I'm cool with that. But In order to play you must be a registered Jazzfanz member. It will be a $20 buy-in fun tournament.

It will be the launch of Gameface Poker 2.0. There will be a few new things, hopefully improvements. It will not be until April or possibly May. I want it to be a fun casual tournament and we'll have an extended break for food and socializing.

It's early, so I'll save details for late March or whenever I know when it will happen for sure.

If it’s for jazzfanzers then I think you should do it on a game night.

That completely prevents me from being able to watch any of the game...

And it would depend on the Jazz being in the playoffs. They do not have a Saturday game in April.
