Back in 2007, had we beat San Antonio (long shot) then we likely would have won it all. So too, this is also the finals. We can take Houston and we can take whatever trash comes out of the east. The good news is we don't have pressure on us. I think the Warriors don't feel pressure which could make tonight our best chance for a road win. Ultimately, what I'd like to see is us play GSW better than any other team in the playoffs and I think that would be huge. I see a 6 game series. While I see us losing, I don't think it's really all that far fetched that we could conceivably pull off an upset. I think we matchup against them better than anyone else in the league. They have no answer for Gobert and I anticipate some good offense coming from him. There's no Deandre to contend with and nobody protecting that rim. This isn't popular, but time to release the Bolomboy as the small ball 5. As he'll grab all the rebounds, we won't really be playing small. He'll have the athleticism to keep up. He should get Withey's minutes. And he should get lobs.

Flame away.

Love the enthusiasm but it's not happening. He looked over his head in just the regular season, hasn't played a minuted in the playoffs I believe, no way he plays all of sudden against the best team in the league lol

To be fair, if we are down 25 with 5 minutes to go he should get 5 minutes of burn. I don't see us losing that bad in any case, but there is a possibility, sadly.

He actually looked pretty good against the warriors in the game we won. Better than any of our other bigs did anyway.

We rolled out a lineup of mack, exum, burks, lyles or JJ (can't remember which of them but I think it was lyles) and bolomboy.
They had steph, draymond, and durant on the court and we played them even the entire time those lineups were out there (about 5 minutes iirc)

This may be true. The Jazz matched up very well against Houston (although I'm not ready to put a grave marker over the spurs yet), and once you make it to the finals anything can happen.

The good news is the Jazz have to treat this like their finals, while the Goldenrod StarWarriors and all their clone fans are treating this like a intolerable stepping stone that they must suffer.

The bad news is the Wario brothers could sleep walk through 3 games of this series and still erupt in an enormous offensive outpouring.

I agree with Infection. Houston isn't a problem. San Antonio is beatable in 7 and the East can't handle us, either. If we beat the Warriors and remain healthy it's ours for the taking. And I'm sticking by my prediction of Shelvin Mack returning to glory in this series.

The benches in general imo are going to make the difference in the series. If Clark and those scrubs have strong games it could be ugly.

You know LeBron beat this team last year after they set an NBA record for most wins in a season, right?

Beating GS would be freaking incredible, but LeBron is the king until somebody else proves they deserve it.

No durant and suspended draymond doe.
Lebron is a total badass too. People were writing him off at the start of these playoffs too. Dumbasses. Never write off Lebron.

Or Uncle Drew, he was sensational.
