Enes Kanter for Bismack Biyombo and a protected 1st round pick orrrrrr Kanter for Jordon Hill, protected 1st round pick and Houston's 1st round pick.

Hill is a girlfriend beater so l doubt he'll be in Utah anytime soon - maybe his cousin will vouch for him

The draft pick in the first scenario needs to be unprotected.

I would do the second scenario

I think you are overvaluing his market. I'd guess Jason Thompson and a future second rounder (with protections) from Sacto.

Bismack recorded a double double with 5 blocks last game. Hard to trade Enes for that while they are also giving pick (s).

All you need is 5 blocks to achieve a double double?

Just kidding I know what you meant

Bismack's career feels like Enes' to me. The rawness they have makes them demonstrate less then their potential and both will reach a lot higher ground one day. Love Biyombo-MKG-Kemba btw.

You just gotta be kidding me tony! I don't need any crystal balls or inside connections to tell you what any NBA talent evaluator would say about this. It would be something akin to " are you out of your mind ?". Both have enough NBA history to evaluate well. Perceived talent aside, and in this case "defensive" ability aside. Kantor is worth at least two Biyombos. You dudes are living proof that the "grass in greener on the other side of the fence". I just wished you could have your way with ideas like this just to hear what you would say about Biyombo once he was wearing a Jazz uniform. Youth has no patience when it should be me who has no patience.

If the Hornets chefs think that they have cooked Bismack enough to keep him for midterm playoff run with depth, they might value him more than Enes whose skillset can be presented by a similar great offense-weak defense starting center called Al. I think both Enes and Bismack are far away from their real ceilings and Enes seems a lot more productive in numbers with his scoring skillset and boards, but if this Biyombo overcomes his "no clue what to do on offensive sets" identity, his already there defense might contribute more. Or at least Hornets might think that way. Which player will earn more? I think Enes. He has learnt how to make his bread out of what he has as base skillset. Bismack has yet to.

Kanter first, Favors were forced to increase the defensive attention, the attack can only rely on Kanter. The first Gobert, the inside is very good, baboons can self offense, efficiency is very high, I very much hope that the Kanter deal. What do you think?

Lol.

Good post.

I'm all for trading Kanter for something nice if we can, but hell no to Biyombo.

We need to trade Kanter because we have Gobert. Not because he sucks really bad and we need to get rid of him.

Those two deals aren't even close. The second one is wayyyyy better.

Why? Kanter can play next Gobert. We have the right to match Kanter. We don't need to trade him.
