This season will vindicate Ty Corbin

Don't you know that im the one always pimping alec burks. Not bitching about alec, but praising him. That is my schtick.... PRAISING our young guys.
Im the one going to every scrimmage and then telling everyone how great gobert and Rodney hood look. Im the one that goes to jazz fanz to spend 100 bucks so I can get tickets to the home opening jazz game. I never miss a game and then after losses I talk of how good the team looked anyways and how we will be fine and not to worry. Im the one that puts hot pics of jazz girls for luck.

Usually when Im in an argument with another poster it is because im defending a player on the jazz or the jazz team as a whole. Im the positive jazz fan. Other than when it came to ty corbin. And jazz management took care of that one for me so its all good now.
I hope you feel better soon. Im sure we will lose a game at some point to cheer you up buddy

Nuh-uh.

I don't think it's that unlikely. If the Jazz bomb again this year, it's going to be hard to blame everything on Corbin. Of course there will be those people who will then claim that BOTH coaches suck. My own opinion is that even though I think Corbin is mediocre at best, there is only so much you can do with what you have to work with, and I doubt even Pop could have done much with our roster last year. I'm not ready to defend Corbin to Frank's level, but in theory, I agree with the idea that Corbin has taken more than his fair share of blame of recent problems. Still glad he's gone, though.

I'd like to point out that a good coach can dictate to a degree how well a team does. Just look at the job Sloan did with the post Stockton and Malone team. One of the most talent-less teams ever built, and they ended up with 42 wins and just missing the playoffs. If you ask me, last years team had more talent then that team did, so there goes that theory.

Hey eenie, what needs to be backed up here? Your rep made no sense.

Because it didn't make sense to say that ... this whole thread is bogus. It really is too early to tell, but the indications are, so far, even if we had lost every game, that this team is playing much differently and on the road back to being a contender. I had noticed some other negative posts by you, which I thought dampens the enthusiasm many of us have right now. We shall see, but let's keep upbeat, ok?

Hey Everybody,

Eenie-Meenie wants to stop years worth of crying and become optimistic. He needs you all to play along with him.

Thanks,

And Jerry was also the coach of this team when the wheels came completely off, but I don't believe that proves he was a bad coach. Funny how some people want to give credit when things are good, but when the chips are down, they burry their heads in the sand and chant to themselves "All Deron's fault, all Deron's fault."

Whatever this season is proving so far, it's proving that you have to maintain a polarizing view on Tyrone Corbin.

"We've made big improvements, most of which is internal growth of players, but Ty was bad for player development so all praise goes to Q."

"We're this year's Phoenix ya bish, cuz we risin' from teh ashes (of Corbin!)!"

"Burks!"

I'm not sure i'd call a record of 31W/23L (.575 --> 47 wins full season) "wheels coming off"....

dem wheels fallin' off is Corbin's fault, too.

more or less i think it was the sudden lack of star power, system, respect, and caring among the remaining/new players upon Jerry's and Deron's departures

Him quitting mid year and all the drama and chaos for a very tight lipped team qalifies as the "wheels coming off" to me.

"This season will vindicate Ty Corbin" haters' opinion that he was a terrible NBA head coach. So far, so good.
