The bible has a place? Whether you believe in it or not its easily the most influential book of human civilization. All modern principles from morality, justice, environmental concerns, science, technology etc etc etc can be traced to the Bible. The very country you live in was hugely influenced by the Bible and its teachings.
The phrase" I guess the bible has a place" is just a wee bit of an understatement.
Science? Technology? Justice? Etc etc. Sure, you can trace it to the Bible in the sense that if those throughout history who had been indoctrinated in it since childhood hadn't later questioned or disregarded many of the Bible's absurd and contradictory declarations, there'd be no modern world.

I think I read somewhere that Deron found Jesus over this past off season. I guess you're thinking I have a problem with that. Why should I? If it makes him a more responsible and productive member of society, than its a step in the right direction. Deron's facebook is "his" facebook, so I dont have a problem with him writing whatever he wants to write...regardless of my opinion on tact regarding personal beliefs.
