What should we do with Pleiss

  • Keep and develop him for this season especially since 3M is cheap in this contract era

We can afford to keep him, work on gaining more strength (already added 10 lbs, right?), and get him more playing time... probably more D-League time. His shot is good, just needs to adjust to NBA speed and strength. With Withey (Favors & Lyles) we are not hurting for Center minutes, but we do need a Stretch Big, so he's worth keeping.
 
I didn't see much from him. I'd say trade him if he has any value, the instant you need the roster spot.

Patience, Grasshopper. He's 7'3" and he can shoot! NO NEED to move him, and we don't need his roster spot - we've got 6 Guards. While he may not WANT to play in D-League, he needs to play, and we can work his butt off... or, er, work some muscles on.
 
I'm not even going to read the poll options. There's only one answer here: stop worrying about him.

CL is ulcering about him for some gawddamn reason.
 
He will be 27 in Nov. it is hard to believe he is going to improve enough to be rotation player. Drop him for cap and roster space as soon as needed
 
lets at least see what he can do in a summer league setting and go from there. if he sucks, cut bait and go another direction. if he's good, maybe you keep him around as the last big off the bench and see if he can get better. but yeah, at 27 it isn't looking good.

This. He needs to show some serious signs on the boards and on defense.
 
Keep him and develop him. No reason to let him go at this point in time. We aren't in need of cap space or roster spots at the moment. If we find a backup five in free agency we might need to make a decision between him and Withey, I would keep Pleiss for the upside.
 
Let's wait until we see how he does in the SL game today. Anything less than 20/10 and he should be pilloried in the courtyard outside the arena.
