Timberwolves are strongly considering taking Enes Kanter

Yep, JazzFanz has been living right for quite some time now.

But seriously...if this were to happen, I would be ecstatic. At that point, I would love to see us package some combination of Millsap/Harris/12 to get back into the top 6-7 and take Brandon Knight. I am a big fan of his.

Of course, if the organization is sky high on Jimmer, we might just stand pat at 12.

Dwill at 3... Jonas in the 5-10 range... Jimmer at the 12.

Boo yeah

I really think people are sleeping on the fact that getting Irving is a real possibility and we may not have to even give up anything to get him.

What would people prefer: Kanter/Jimmer or Irving/Motiejunas?

Smokescreen to get CLE to trade up with Minny? Otherwise it could go;

- Irving
- Kanter
- Williams
- Not an ideal draft for CLE's 1 and 4 picks.

CLE may be forced/scared into trading their 4 and other assets to Minny for #2 in order to make their draft dream. Problem with this is Minny ends up with Knight? as well .. and not a need. Nevermind.

I'd trade 3 and 12 for Irving .. so Irving and anyone. I just see ZERO chance of this happening, none.

Just curious: They talk about this being a weak draft. Where would Williams be projected if all of the expected players were still in the draft?

Yeah.... Having read that we're more interested in Kanter than Knight at this point, that trade leaves Minny out in the cold.

If we get Irving or Williams at 3, I'd be astounded by how well this draft worked out for us. If we take Kanter at 3, I'd also be happy.

It would be very interesting if Williams did fall to #3 and Kemba fell to #12. I would much rather have Irving or Knight instead of Kemba, but for a #12 pick he would be an absolute steal. In the other threads today with links to ESPN they keep talking about Kemba's likely slide in the draft so it is at least a possibility unlike Irving or Knight falling to #12. With those 2, I'd say we probably would have been the most successful (and lucky) team in the league on draft night.
