What's new

time for KOC to do something

what if we still had Maynor.... at least he could shoot. Get rid of MILES and FES. ELSON is worthless so just let his contract expire and let him go. Fes still has potential but he seems like the biggest goofball on the court most of the time. and Miles....he just shoots way to much and doesn't make anything.

It is baffling to me the hatred people here have for past bit role players like Giricek or Palacio. I laughed on and on when people booed Giricek when he came back here as a member of the Magic or whoever, it was the most petty, ridiculous thing. How you can all view these players as commodities and not people is both troubling and telling. It's no wonder why nobody wants to play here. Bad weather, white people, and a disloyal, weird, vengeance fueled fanbase. You're a horrible sociopath

I have always been perplexed about the way SOME Jazz fans treat former players but there are SOME jazz fans that are not too bright. So I guess it shouldn't surprise me. Unless a player trashes the city you live in I can't really see why people get that upset. Unfortunately, the good fans and people of the Jazz get stereotyped with all the knucklehead fans. It is a shame because I think it does make what you say seem true.

Hey look at the bright side. At least our starters are competitive now. Problem is we have no bench and the starters are playing 40 minutes and losing it in the end when they have no legs left.

The guys who are healthy are starting to play better offensively; especially Jefferson. And, as Harpring has pointed out, Jefferson is getting in much better shape as he does look leaner. I suspect he was limited in workouts this summer as he recovered from his knee injury.
It takes time for new guys to mesh effectively on defense. We miss Okur big-time out there, and with AK out too, we are very, very thin with our bigs.
Just what would we get in return for these suggested trades?? First off, NO ONE wants AK's contract, and CJ is a good replacement for Korver... Elson is a role player; no one is gonna give up anything better...

I doubt 1/2 a year of AK's salary would turn a deal sour. AK is playing great team ball this year and could add some nice glue to a couple eastern teams that are one step below Miami and Boston.

Atlanta would be dumb to turn down this trade, especially with their money situation this offseason.

Break it down however you want. This guy is asking the Jazz to make a trade to make them significantly and/or more fundamentally better/competitive and I'm saying that **** just doesn't happen.
I thought I was the only one that subscribed to this. I hate that there is not a good answer, but I really think this is a grin and bear it moment.

Maynor is shooting 41% What are you talking about? Maynor is a decent player, but shooting he is not what I would consider a great shooter.
