He is abundantly overpaid being a bench player.
he could start for many teams. and how is he overpaid? he made 5 mil last year, 5.2 mil this year. he will be making 14.8 mil next year. so he ain't overpaid yet. and he has gotten better every time i see him. if he plays for us and we give him 38 min, he will avg 22/7.5 easily. and only reason why he is backing up beverly is that beverly has emerged as top 3-4 pg defender. they need beverly to slow down curry, cp3, parker, and westbrook. it's a great tactical move. Lin will be their ginobli. just look at his usage. anytime he gets over 30 min, he avg near 20pts.
and it's really hard to avg enough points when you play in such a stacked team. this rockets team is deep as hell. asik is better than any of our bigs(including favors, favors better O, but asik much better D) but he can't put up numbers because he doesn't even avg 20min.
