The salary cap room was more important than anything offered. In essence we traded them for Rush, Jefferson, Biedrins, two unprotected firsts, and some second rounders. The trick is that we wanted picks we didn't want long term salary back and we got exactly that. with the way the team is shaping up I think we would actually take salary back if the deal was right, so there should be a few more options. Atlanta hasn't dealt for anyone else yet, and there are likely to be more trading partners as the season progresses.

Maybe the Hawks don't want Jefferson or Williams. Jazz play close to the vest. Who knows what they may or may not be working on. Ultimately I think a trade is done. I just think Lindsey is being patient and waiting for his shot. I hope so at least.

Because watching Williams and Jefferson continue to help play us out of a top pick is going to suck.
 
I think Marvin might actually be worth something, but they'll have to take on a bad contract to unload Jefferson. Depending on what they get back, I'd be perfectly alright with that.

Great good for him. There are better options on the roster for the tank (Harris). I agree that playing Jefferson is not the main tanking worry. But improve where you can. Since Jefferson is not part of the future of this team I'd rather Harris got some of his time and furthered the tank.
 
I rather play Evans and Gobert and let them prove if they can play. I would trade Marvin as quick as I can because he is hurting our tank. I don't think the market is as good for Jefferson but I would move him too because when he plays well the Jazz have a better chance of winning.
