To get the number one pick...

Season ends...lottery takes place. Jazz are stuck at 6. Would kanter, burks, 6th pick and early second move us to number 1? I believe it would, but is it worth it? Is a Jabari, Favors and Hayward core championship material?

Need to pick up a bench scorer in the offseason. Prolly find a serviceable bench big with the gs pick. Seems hefty price to pay and not sure we would be better, but won't have to commit to kanter or burks long term if the jazz are uneasy.

May be you haven't been around here much lately, but Hayward's on the out and Burks' a keeper.

I like burks a lot, but obviously can't trade Hayward for number one. This is the package I think might land a number one. So my question since you obviously weren't paying ****ing attention. Is that too much for Jabari and would our new core 3 ( maybe burkes for 4) be contenders?

Who'd complement Jabari better: Burks, or Hayward?

Now there is an interesting question.

We would also need gobert to improve tremendously on the defensive side of the ball. Favors and gobert would need to be one of the most lethal enforcing duos in the league.

How is Jabari the #1 pick?

Or maybe an alternate question. What could the Jazz GET for the #6 pick? I honestly believe the Jazz may be "cashing in" on there pieces this offseason.
It makes more sense to me as I think about it. If the Jazz could pull off what the Celtics did like 6 years ago I would be totally cool with it.
Kanter plus the #6 pick could possibly net you a Kevin Love. A #6 plus Burke could get you Russell Westbrook? Who knows. At least the whole lack of tanking would be easier to swallow, especially this waist of a season.

I think that could be a contender in 3 years. Jabari, not so much.

Dude. I can't explain the scenario again. Of course if we land a top 3 pick we could role out that lineup. I am saying if we need to trade up we need to give up a ton. You think Hayward and 6 gets you number one? Lol

Those packages you mention aren't even close. Like, not even a little.

You reckon? If I were the T'Wolves I would seriously consider Kanter & #6 pick for Love (who will probably leave after his contract ends).

I don't think the #1 pick is attainable for us if we don't win the lottery.

That said, I think it may be possible to move from #6 to #4 in a couple scenarios, and I think it would be worth doing, especially if Kanter and Favors aren't going to play well together for some reason. I think Exum would be worth moving up for, along with the top 3 picks in this draft.

I'd rather have a Hayward/Jabari pair IMO.

This. Hayward is a lot more complementary while I feel where Burks would be strong in ways that simply are more redundant and much less necessary with Jabari.
