If he wasn't healthy last year, then he hasn't been healthy his entire career. Jeez I'm tired of people making excuses for Favors based off injuries.
Exum gets hurt, and most bash him. Favors doesn't play as many minutes or not so well, and he's hurt.
Favors doesn't fit as well as Harris.

Favors was definitely hurt for most of 16-17 and 17-18. That is simply a fact. I dont think he was hurt last I am just not sure he could hold up and stay healthy playing more. It seemed when he got too many minutes for awhile they had to sit him for back or other stuff. That is a concern going forward with him for me.
I dont bash Exum for getting hurt.

Sorry if this has been discussed, but I’m pretty sure all you have to do to sign Tobias is adjust the Conley trade. Add in Exum and wait to finalize the deal until you have Tobias signed and I think you can make it work.

Yes but you will never be convinced he is completely healthy.
He will always play low minutes because the paint is the realm of gobert. Our pf should stay out of it when gobert is playing.
Favors isn't as effective out of the paint as a good three point shooter
We will see favors play low minutes this season too if gobert remains healthy. I will guarantee it right now even without knowing who else will be on the roster.

We’d rather use a really nice wrench as a makeshift hammer rather than exchanging the wrench for a moderately priced hammer and using the difference elsewhere.
But but... none of those hammers can also be a wrench.
I guess we'll see. I think he'll play more minutes then he did last year per game with Conley. If he's on our roster. I'm starting to guess he won't be with the options available.
Offensively they don't always fit but they can with together. It's not like Gobert does much work in the paint. It's always helpful to have two good screeners on the court. Plus two good rebounders.
Plus the other half of the court they fit together perfectly on defense. Which is half the game.

Gobert sets the record for dunks in a season = doesn't do much work in the paint.
He should enter the dunk contest if he was doing all those dunks from outside the paint!

Honestly I'll be more sad about losing Exum than Favors if we land Harris. It would be worth it though.

That really surprises me because you're one of Favors biggest supporters on here.
Off pick and rolls and cuts. He doesn't pound in the paint much. He isn't a post up guy. Those are the reasons he would need a big to help pull the other big away. In the pick and roll if Favors guy rotates to help that leaves Favors wide open for a dunk. Favors and Gobert are both decent at passing to each other in that situation.
