Top 10 NBA Signature Moves.

It's no signature but Jamaal's between the (opponent's) legs dribble seems pretty top 10 to me.

Rogers pigeon-footed shot should be on there

This. Completely shocked at the omission of CJ's fadeaway contested threes with 19 left on the clock, or Boom Bitches relentless offensive rebounds. Lest we forget Josh Howard leading a 5 on 1 fast break and clanking a Pull-up 22 footer off the back iron.

most of the stuff on that list ranks below dirk's. when i think "signature" i think of dirk leaning back and shooting a high-arching shot over the defender, and i think of kobe pulling up into a corkscrew jumper with one leg forward and with no arch. instead of those two prolific offensive players, we get a top 10 list with luis scola and james harden? wtf?

I'm especially surprised about Harden's inclusion because as opposed to making baskets, he usually ends up shooting 2 FTs. Last year he averaged 5.0 FGs per game, which includes 1.8 3PFGs per game. It's hard to call something a signature move that usually results in FTs as opposed to actually making the basket.

exactly. 20 years from now, nobody will remember harden's trick for getting to the line. in 2032 when we sit back to remember the signature moves of the early part of the century, we'll talk about kobe and dirk before we talk about ANYBODY else.

I really miss the patented Giricek two step before dribble move, it was awesome.

Who could forget the ever eventful Harpring pass into the stands, always a classic.

Finally, and my favorite... which has been copied by many players over time... the "I just drank a bottle of piss" face after a bad shot without a foul call by my man Tim Duncan.

They really missed the boat on some of the signature moves.

Scola & Harden on that list before Deron's killer crossover? No Kobe, LeBron, Wade, Durant, Westbrook moves? Lame list. I don't get it...

Ah yes, the Giri fake, drop step and traveling call. At least 2x per game. Only Ali himself did a better shuffle.

I'd add AK's "Spastic Octopus" to the list:

Drive into the lane, flail his arms wildly in the air, and hope the ref bails him out by calling the closest defender for a foul.

Pierce's shot is really more of a fade. Pretty indefensible. My biggest hope for Hayward is he can develop a similar shot.

Can't believe no flops made the list. Wade, Paul, Manu, Blake, etc... all have signature flops.

Others:

LeBruh's come from behind block off the break

KG's fake tough chest punch + grimace

Kobe's ref staredown

LeBron chucks a 3 with 19 seconds left

Millsap ball fake to spin

That's not a move.
