If he’ll come back cheap, I say sign Trevor Booker just because I miss him

I’m no expert when it comes to free agency, but I just don’t see how Tyreke Evens signs here for the MLE, Amy I wrong on that? I would love him here as a secondary scorer coming off the bench for the MLE.1.) Derrick Favors - team friendly deal.
2.) Dante Exum - team friendly deal.
3.) DeMarre Carroll - just because I Think he’s a perfect fit and want him back.
4.) MLE - Tyreke Evans, Mario Hezonja or Joe Harris - one more offensive playmaker.
5.) Rookie wing/guard or stretch 4/5 - someone with major upside.
I think Jerebko still has lots of value as an injury replacement, in that he’s not a complete scrub, and can give u a solid emergency replacement for injury, and a good locker room guy who doesn’t mind getting lots of DNPCD’s, but when called upon, is capable of stretching the floor, playing good defense and giving you 12-15 points on a good night.Thabo is old and coming off an injury. I think the likelihood of a steep decline is very real. His minutes have been replaced by Crowder and O'Neale. I wouldn't be surprised to see DL decline his option (and Jerebko's) to go after FA's. Udoh's option is likely exercised...unless Favors agrees to return before it has to be picked up.
Disagree there will be internal improvements, we could get third seed and have our starting pg for the second round we are a threat against anyoneIf we're able to resign everyone back this off-season, we still will be a 2nd rd playoff team. The Jazz need to do even more this off-seaon if they want to contend with the big boys. PG13 or whomever that would put us over the 2nd rd hump, we need to get that. Hopefully, we will.
Just went through the last few pages and missed the Carroll talk earlier this month. Warming up to the idea of him as a starting four. Didn’t know he was rebounding decently. 8 rebounds per 36 is respectable. Most of these crappy guys we talk about at the four grab like 6 rebounds per 48.
He has one year left at like $15M. Some type of Burks swap. Tomic can make his monumental debut with the Nets.Again not an expert, but isn’t he way over paid?

It wouldn’t matter. It’s $5M more than Burks and unless there’s a way we can trade Burks without taking salary back, it’s not going to affect our effective cap space.I don’t want him for anything near 15 million a year regardless of who we cut.

He has one year left.I’ll take your word for it, but it seems 15M is still 15M and two three years down the road there’s a good chance we might want that off the books, plus isn’t he similar to Royce O’Neale?

Carroll is a 3/4 at this point. He has one year left at $15.4 million. So we’d be swapping Burks’ expiring contract for Carroll’s expiring contract.I’ll take your word for it, but it seems 15M is still 15M and two three years down the road there’s a good chance we might want that off the books, plus isn’t he similar to Royce O’Neale?
Love Harris too. A lot of what he does on offense reminds me of Ingles. I think the Nets make sure to bring him back. It’s a big reason that I think Carroll comes available - Harris moves into the starting lineup on a new contract and they save at least a couple million in the process.joe harris always love him![]()
