Well I mean, I don't really see better options at 4 off the bench. I obviously would prefer Favors, Love, Gordon, especially Harris, etc.
But, for his skill set, at the 4, I like him better than Ilysova or Thaddeus. Ilysova will be more expensive, he has more talent than Young and can hit the 3. He's taller than both. He's never really had a good structure around him, like in college. Miami tried but he had too much pressure on him, and he had a bad crowd around him. He kept bouncing around, and had basically no system in the Carmelo Knicks for the last couple years. Snyder has done more with less.
I mean, he's the type of guy that's shown he's developed a work ethic. Plenty of talented guys don't get the chances he does, and if he hadn't matured, he wouldn't keep getting opportunities. I'm not talking as a starter, but in a Joe Johnson role? He's a good pickup. Scoring is why I'd love the Jazz to pick up Hezonja as well. For starters at 4, I'd prefer Harris, Favors, Love, possibly Aaron Gordon, that type. Backup? Beasley.
On a side note, like I said, I question Parker's knees and attitude. I think Mirotic will be too expensive, and will drop off once he gets a pay day. The Jazz should maintain cap flexibility as much is possible. This year should be focused on bang for the buck.

Niko can still be had. It sounds like Nola still has plans on signing Cousins, from what I read, which means Niko could be on the trading block at the deadline next year

My wonder is if the Pels will look at possibly trading him around the draft if they’re going to keep Cousins. If the Jazz offered Thabo/Jerebko and their 1st round pick, New Orleans would have rented Mirotic for their playoff run for the low cost of swapping Asik for cap space and dropping one spot in the draft. That’s not a bad deal for either team if he’s available.

Would Boston be open to trading Rozier? With Irving there, I don't think Boston has room for him. It's not like they are hurting for allstar caliber players. Would he be an upgrade to Rubio?

I think you're right. Question is if he gets that from a playoff team or not - I think after this playoffs, guys like him will be looking to get paid by teams like the Jazz. At least, I hope.

At this point, by the way these guys are playing, by the way they are supporting one another, I wouldn’t change a thing. And if Exum becomes the player that we all thought he would be... lookout.

I unfortunately think favors might leave so i would say his replacement and resigning Dante should be the FOs priority

2.) Dante Exum - team friendly deal.
3.) DeMarre Carroll - just because I Think he’s a perfect fit and want him back.
4.) MLE - Tyreke Evans, Mario Hezonja or Joe Harris - one more offensive playmaker.
5.) Rookie wing/guard or stretch 4/5 - someone with major upside.

Thabo is old and coming off an injury. I think the likelihood of a steep decline is very real. His minutes have been replaced by Crowder and O'Neale. I wouldn't be surprised to see DL decline his option (and Jerebko's) to go after FA's. Udoh's option is likely exercised...unless Favors agrees to return before it has to be picked up.
