My short rebuttal. Thanks, but no thanks. My short pitch for Beasley: there's a lot of evidence that he's matured, playing overseas seems to help him grow up. His scoring ability has always been there, and I view him possibly filling the Joe Johnson. There's still room in the league for an old school, one on one scoring vet, and besides Mitchell, we don't really have a reliable scorer in the front court. He will probably come cheap, and I don't view him as a starter barring injury. It would be healthy to have him to complement Gobert and (hopefully) Favors. Snyder has proven his system can find a solid role for almost anyone. He's definitely more valuable than say, a Thaddeus Young. He can still rebound and hit the 3.
(Jazz can find better options - especially with Donovan, Rudy and Snyder’s reputation.)
