Top Five Worst Obamacare Taxes Coming in 2013

I got a question about this obeezycare.
how is medicare etc funded.
eg do you have to buy health insurance. like is it mandatory to go to a health insurance company and get insurance.
or do you pay health insurance tax to the government and then you are insured.

Medicaid is funded thru taxes.
YOu have to find your own insurance or you will pay a penalty at tax time. That insurance can be a private insurance, Medicare, Medicaid..just get insurance. The bill expanded Medicaid coverage to millions of people.

I have no problem giving him credit for continuing to hunt down al Qaeda. My "seriously" comment was regarding Salty's assertion that al Qaeda is all but destroyed. If anyone really believes this I have a nice bridge in San Fran to sell them.

Al Qeada and the Taliban have started to cooperate in Pakistan, after hating each other for years, because they are both on the ropes.

Isn't Al Geada also reaching out in places like Africa, Yemen adn Syria? One could see that as them expandind their reach.

Clearly Al Qeada is weaker and bravo for the President for going after them. I strongly support him there. But Al Qeada is not defeated yet. Don't take that boot off their throat yet.

Those other organizations are terrorists, yes, but we didn't have this "war on terror" to stop them. It was al qaida we were after. And you know this.

And the troops killed in Afghanistan are unfortunate, but they are there fighting a war. They knew what they were signing up for. So while it's unfortunate, and I'd like to see them brought home, it's not the same as an average Joe getting killed when some terrorist blows up an office building.

Non Americans being killed by Hamas/Hezbollah/whoever are not the responsibility of the American president and was never the focus of the "war on terror" (nor should it have been). Our focus was to reduce the threat on American soil and to destroy al qaida.

Obama has been hugely successful at this. And that's why I doubt Romney will bring it up during the debate (which is what my post to Franklin implied, when I responded to him saying he hopes Romney brings it up).

If you really can't comprehend this, then you have no business calling anyone else dense.

I like to feed you, Northeast, & even occasionally The Thriller, but this particular schtick claiming it's empirically pure if Obama does it but downright evil when Bush did is pathetically unentertaining. You are typically marginally clever when pushing ridiculousness to the limits. Since you didn't do that here, I'm convinced this is your true stance shining through. Unfortunately, your sentiment is exactly how I picture Obama, and that scares the hell out of plenty of American voters.

If Bush had done it (nearly destroyed al qaida), I would have supported it. People were upset with Bush for going after Saddam Hussein instead of Bin Laden. Not many Americans, dems or repubs, were against Bush going after Bin Laden.

We'll see how many of those Americans are scared of Obama on election day. It's almost a certainty Obama will win at this point.

And Utah will be in the Rose Bowl. Clearly, Romney is going to win this election.

Under his tern he hasn't allowed an attack on US soil, and has killed many top leaders. Al Qaeda is weakened for sure, but they will eventually regroup. The question is after we leave Afghan what is the next phase of the war going to look like?

With Romney, and Obama who is better to lead this next phase? Who is more likely to get us into another ground battle, and nation building? Who will handle this delicate situation better...

False. Libya. US embassies are US soil.

But yes Obama has certainly gone after Al Qeada and I highly applaud him for doing so. I hope whoever wins that they continue to hunt down and kill Al Qeada and anyone allied with them.
