Tough Day To Be In Law Enforcement

This. The media makes it look worse than it is. My cousin lives there and works in downtown Portland and she says her life is never affected by the protests

I do believe your cousin and her experience. But seeing the amount of businesses that were very clearly closed and/or destroyed I think there are more than a fair amount of people that are telling a much different story.

I have a co-worker who lives in Portland I talk to a few times a week that would disagree with you.
Where exactly does your cousin live? Tigard?

Watch some YouTube videos on it. Read articles about businesses leaving town. The city is a gawd damn mess, man. 100%

I will say in regards to these BLM protests, which I support in general. The main instigators, the dumbasses, those being dangerous, those destroying property, for the most part seem to be white. It's odd. They don't have to face the fallout of their actions. Blacks get blamed for their dumbassery. I give them the benefit of the doubt that they think they are trying to do something positive. But they are only making things much much worse.

Jacob Blakes parents seem very reasonable considering everything that is going on. These dumb *** white kids are ****ing things up for everyone. On both sides.

Then I see Kendrick Perkins on ESPN saying there was black man lynched less than a mile from his house recently, which I'd bet my life is not true, and I realize that both sides are being beyond irrational. There are no reasonable voices. Each side is trying to 1 up each other in stupidity. It's sad really.

Now the games are just rescheduled? Not sure. Apparently Orlando was out on the floor ready to play. Milwaukee refused to come out.
Would be semi-hilarious to see the Magic come out and say "we fully support you guys here... but... rules is rules and we were ready to play so..."

“The financial consequences to the downtown corridor are a running calculation that is almost impossible to wrap your mind around,” he said — with one company already saying the riots have cost $20 million in damage and lost business."

@One Brow at what point do you think it's a **** hole?

I wonder how many small business were lost or will be moving to a more stable state. The unemployment rate will be in the double digits for years.
