Tough Day To Be In Law Enforcement

So...

"Minneapolis City Council Vice President Andrea Jenkins said Floyd and Chauvin knew each other for many years because they worked security at the same night club. Both men worked at El Nuevo Rodeo on Lake Street before their fatal encounter."

Not sure if anyone had posted this and I question its' validity because I've not heard about it as much as I'd expect to given the implications. But to me, if true, this is murder. Not ****ing 3rd degree. 1st degree murder.

Are we listening yet?

Based on some stuff on Facebook there seem to be some who were going to pay attention (no really, they totally were, they said so) but since "they" started rioting now they're not going to pay attention.

Riots in LA today too. Any excuse to get free ****. Because everyone knows that if random people can get free **** it makes all the bad cops go away.

There seems to be a lot of news now coming out about this. It sounds like the club owner has confirmed they worked together at the club but could not confirm if they knew each other or not for sure. They worked some same events together but Chauvin worked outside and Floyd would have been inside. I hope they throw the book at Chauvin, he deserves it.

Even the club owner said he had a short fuse and would resort to pepper spraying people even when it didnt seem warranted.

Protesting/rioting basically everywhere.

I saw cops being dragged and beaten in chicago (thankfully some of the protesters jumped in and stopped it), I saw a cop in nyc drive his cop SIV into a crowd of protesters, **** is popping off in Seattle.
It's spreading like wildfire.

So ****ing sad and scary. I hate it

Whoever was in charge of Chauvin should face charges of some kind as well. He has a terrible history, whoever let him keep working is responsible for this as well. The other cops who allowed Chauvin to kill him also have a better record, like many cops and should be held responsible as well.

Good police should stop protecting ****** police and call them out. Otherwise they are bad cops as well. You would think they would have honor in what they do and want to protect that and lot let ****** people soil their job.

A co worker told me that they arrested the wrong cop. That it wasn't the one who killed the poor guy

I haven't seen anything anywhere about that so I think it's BS

Guys. It’s not about the looting. Its not about the violence. It’s not about left or right. Black people are being targeted by **** cops. Those cops people are supposed to trust. To keep us safe. How do tell a black kid the police will protect you?

This is the problem and people are quick to blame those who have no power.

Why are we looking to the powerless to create a solution?

No doubt.
Police don't treat black people like **** and this doesn't happen

I think we are all in agreement about that fact
