Trade for Zach Lavine

Stats are misleading. I spent 2-3 days talking to Wolves fans on their message board people had plenty to say regarding his potential being through the roof, but the fact that he makes boneheaded plays would keep him from reaching his full potential. He's going to get some nice stats because of his physical makeup, but to the last person, they all said he doesn't make his team better or help them win, because he doesn't play within the offense.

Neto is a good defender. Watch the damn games..

U have to be the best of the best if your not going to play defense, but if your the worst of the worst on defense u don't see the floor. Look at Boozer in his prime. Great offensive player. Al Jefferson is probably the most skilled post player in the league. These guys never became stars though they were top notch offensive players.

As far as boneheaded plays, I believe you. He's also 20 years old. There's freshmen at BYU older than that. I've also read several articles about how turnovers and tough decision making are good for very young point guards. If you aren't pushing past your limit you won't grow much. As far as making the team better, I couldn't name many 20 year old players making their team exponentially better. You bet on these guys putting it together in a few years, using their abilities and stature as a baseline and trusting your coaching staff to adjust their decision making.

I've watched every game. We get burned by the pg every night. One dribble blowbys are common place. Good thing we have the wasatch front or we'd be seeing 40 pt nights on the reg.

Oh and boozer and Jefferson have made A LOT of money in this league, which proves my point.

The truth is that 90% of the point guards in the NBA don't or can't play defense. There are only a handful that can even barely slow anyone down. Point guards are gonna get their numbers regardless in most cases. So trying to single out Lavine's lack for defense is just a bad argument. You won't find many good defensive point guards. It's post defense and team defense that make the biggest difference in the NBA.

I still can believe this

I like Zach... Don't love him but he could be the best sixth man in the league. He is a gym rat and will improve... He may always leave you wanting more and make decisions that make you wonder what he's thinking.

I have no idea how he will find his game though with the current minny rotation. Not sure thibs will have the patience.

Zach Lavine reminds me of a taller version of Eric Bledsoe. He can get to the rim at ease. He is a top 10 athlete in the league. But he doesn't help teams win games.

He's an idiot! ;)
