Trade idea for Horford

Horford is the most overpaid signing of this off season. Absolutely not.

Cavs are listening to offers for Love. I would rather trade for Love than for Horford. Exum and Conley for Love, Sexton and Delly. Keeps our Aussie fans happy and we get Ingles crime partner from national team. Sexton is quite promising too. It works on ESPN trade machine as well and improves us by 7 wins according to Hollinger analysis.

I’d do Ingles/Exum for Horford, though, considering that we’ll probably continue to put Joe in his ******** position where he sucks.

I don’t see why the Sixers would though. They need a legit pg who can shoot.

Yeah why would we want a legit stretch 4 who is shooting 38.8% from 3 on 4.0 attempts per game AND could be a legit backup to Gobert at the 5 AND plays defense.

So my buddy is a huge Sixers fan and thinks they badly need a point guard who can shoot. He’s not fickle at all but simply thinks the Sixers need this and he thinks he would do Conley and Davis for Horford and Neto.

Thoughts?

I think we’d have to do this and start
Mitchell-Royce-Bogey-Horford-Gobert

Could then look to flip Exum for someone like DJ Augustin to solidify the pg spot a bit more.

I don't see why the Sixers would do it. Simmons is their point guard and has to have the ball in his hands to be effective. Conley's too small to play shooting guard and they're not going to pay him $30 million to come off the bench. Not to mention Horford is playing well and is shooting much better than Conley, so the idea that they would do it to add shooting makes no sense, they'd actually be losing shooting.

Yeah why would we want a legit stretch 4 who is shooting 38.8% from 3 on 4.0 attempts per game AND could be a legit backup to Gobert at the 5 AND plays defense.

He is poor rebounder for his size, aging, massively overpaid for what he will be producing in 2-3 years and lately is really allergic to the paint. He was pretty much invisible in first game vs us and while he did way better in second game I have seen those games where he is just disappearing way too often.
