Trade ideas

Do it. Quickley is basically Maxey without the PT & usage. Extremely similar profile. He's already one of the best sixth men in the league with potential to be so much more. JC averages 27 per 100 possession this season. IQ averages 31/100 on much higher efficiency. And it's not like he's a complete ball hog either. His A/T ratio is nearly 3. The kid plays an extremely effiencient offense.
Yeah another casualty of the Collins trade is the infinity cap space we should have. If you were in these talks with them and they want more you just threaten to throw IQ a MONSTER deal that they will either match or will hurt the asset value of the player significantly... while hamstringing their other dealings.

Intersting conversation about Lauri. I have been thinking of the best trade destinations for Lauri and I agree with a lot of what you are saying and disagree also.

Here is a run down of who could be in play if the Jazz traded Lauri.

Portland - not an option
GSW - This makes aot of sense if they wanted to go all in for 1 more push. Perfect fit.
Kings - this is interesting as they have a lot of young talent. Could be a nice fit
La Lakers - dont really want what they can offer. Only have 1 first to offer and no young players.
Clippers - have nothing to offer.
Suns - nothing to offer
Nuggets - why mess with something that is working.
Minny - not a good fit with Kat
Houston - this would be interesting if they wanted to get more competitive. Doesn't make sense to me
SAS - not a good choice
Dallas- nothing left to offer.
Nola - they need to dump Williamson and I dont want him.
Memphis - could be a potential trade if they want to get competitive.
Okc - this one makes the most sense. Would be a bold move by the thunder.

East coast teams

Bucks - have nothing left to trade
Detroit - why make a move
Chicago - needs to be sellers
Cavs - they would probably love to get him back but don't see it.
Indiana - I saw this here and they seem like a great option. Perfect fit on that team.
Boston - they need Lauri but have little to offer.
NYK - I think they wait for a top 25 player like Mitchell. If they settle Lauri would be interesting but Randle is a bad fit.
BKN - if they want to win Lauri is a good fit.
Was - not a good fit
Atl - would be a great fit but what do they have to offer.
Orlando - not a good destination. They are young and need development before going all in.
Miami - seems to make a ton of since but they would want to add herro. Might make sense.
Toronto - should be sellers. Not a great fit as they need better guard play.
Hornets- are a mess and Ball cant stay healthy. No reason to go in yet.
76ers - would be a great fit but what not sure I like their assets. Clippers picks might be nice.

3 best as I see it are

GSW - nice you talent with some picks. Future picks might have nice value.

OkC - has the best to offer would probably start with Jaylin Williams.

Indiana - would probably start with Mathurin.

OKC won't move the good Williams when they have picks to substitute. That is part of the appeal to a Lauri deal for OKC is getting it done without including any of SGA, Williams, Chet.

I looked at stats for Jaylin and they are not awful. Last year he shot 40% from 3 on 3 attempts per game. That is pretty decent for a PF.

Warriors are the easiest team to trade with if they decide they need to upgrade off Paul.

They should be using Paul to get some talent in. Clarkson makes sense as a bench scorer and his contract is manageable for them the next two seasons.

Jaylin Williams probably isnt a NBA player, I hope we arent seriously discussing trading for him.
